FORESTRY AND NATIONAL PARK ESTATE ACT 1998-NOTICE ADJUSTING DESCRIPTION OF LAND TRANSFERRED TO NATIONAL PARK ESTATE

I, Brian Gilligan, Director-General of the National Parks and Wildlife Service, with the approval of the Minister administering the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974 and the Minister administering the Forestry Act 1916, and in pursuance of section l1 of the Forestry and National Park Estate Act 1998, by this notice, adjust the description of lands in Schedules 1, 3 and 4 by amending those Schedules as follows: (a) Schedule l is amended by omitting Parts 2–4 and by inserting instead the matter set out in Appendix A to this notice, (b) Schedule 3 is amended by omitting Parts 2–4 and by inserting instead the matter set out in Appendix B to this notice, (c) Schedule 4 is amended by omitting Parts 2–4 and by inserting instead the matter set out in Appendix C to this notice. I certify that the adjustments effected by this notice will not result in any significant reduction in the size or value of national park estate land or State forest land.
