Sustainability plan

❖ Ensuring 100% door to door collection by registering all houses in the municipality ❖ Installing aerobic compost units and plastic collection centres in respective wards ❖ Appointing more Green Technicians ❖ Periodic monitoring of wards and open house interactions. Monitoring the premises twice in a month with the help of the squads. ❖ Promoting city beautification ❖ Supporting people to construct baby tanks to collect the waste water coming from bathrooms, kitchen etc. ❖ Monitoring the sources of water pollution and taking suitable remedial measures. ❖ Informing the public regarding the penalties levied by the Municipality for polluting water bodies and disposing solid waste in public places. ❖ Campaign in consonance with the Article 51- A (g) of our Indian Constitution which reads as follows: “It shall be the duty of every citizen of India to protect and improve the natural environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife and to have compassion for living creatures.”
