Cold Chisel to Roll Out the Biggest Archival Release in Australian Music History! 56 New and Rare Recordings and 3 Hours of Previously Unreleased Live Video Footage to be Unveiled! Sydney, Australia - Under total media embargo until 4.00pm EST, Monday, 27 June, 2011 --------------------------------------------------------------- 22 July, 2011 will be a memorable day for Cold Chisel fans. After two years of exhaustively excavating the band's archives, 22 July will see both the first- ever digital release of Cold Chisel’s classic catalogue as well as brand new deluxe reissues of all of their CDs. All of the band's music has been remastered so the sound quality is better than ever and state of the art CD packaging has restored the original LP visuals. In addition, the releases will also include previously unseen photos and liner notes. Most importantly, these releases will unleash a motherlode of previously unreleased sound and vision by this classic Australian band. Cold Chisel is without peer in the history of Australian music. It’s therefore only fitting that this reissue program is equally peerless. While many major international artists have revamped their classic works for the 21st century, no Australian artist has ever prepared such a significant roll out of their catalogue as this, with its specialised focus on the digital platform and the traditional CD platform. The digital release includes 56 Cold Chisel recordings that have either never been released or have not been available for more than 15 years. These include: A “Live At

  • Eric Clapton

  • The Dog Caller
The Dog Caller Volume 15 Spiro High School, 600 West Broadway Spiro, Oklahoma 74959 March 2016-2017 Homework: Because Seven Hours of School Isn’t Enough By: Aunika Anderson Let’s get real for a moment here; math should grow up and start solving its own problems. Am I right? For students who are involved in extracurricu- lar activities this is exactly the case, they don’t have the time after school for homework anymore. All these students hear nowadays is to be really active in high school--it’ll look the best for college. So, their after school routine may look a little like this: two hours spent at athletic practice, an hour spent working on organization activities, an hour spent working on their show animal, and then trying to eat, spend time with family AND get to bed at a decent time. Don’t forget the homework. Mostly, they have to give up one of these, just so they can get everything done, which means someone is going to fall asleep in first hour. Do you think a teacher could believe that my show pig ate my homework? The amount of things students do nowa- days is overlooked. Not only are they doing school activities, but most teenagers have a job afterschool, and have more respon- sibilities than a 16 year old should have. Students should always focus on academics, but the amount of homework assigned gives them no time to focus on actually being a teenager. Why You Should Get Involved In School By: Hailey Mendoza When someone says to get involved, what do you think of? Can you possibly think of anything negative? I cannot.

Genre/Influences: Dark-electro. Content: The previous work I heard of Larva never totally convinced me. The dark-electronics of this Spanish formation were missing some substance and especially some cohesion. After an album released on Danse Macabre they got back to Advoxya Records releasing their 4th official album to date. This new work remains a pure dark-electro composition, which simply can be defined as ‘hell-electro’. The inspiration clearly comes from a band like Suicide Commando. The originality inside Larva is far to find, but when a band appears to be an efficient emulator of a leading name of the scene I think no one will start to complain. And that’s precisely what this album is all about. From start to finish you easily can recognize the Suicide Commando-input which appears in the dark sequences and icy melodies. Both debut songs are captivating and promising . Some calmer pieces are awakening spirits of the late 90s electro generation, but here again Larva is a quite efficient copier. The 2nd part of the album is a tiny less interesting as the songs now become quieter and more into haunting atmospheres .
