Several trees in the city limits are posing risks to vehicular traffic. In compliance with the city’s nusiance ordinance, residents are required to trim limbs back to at least the edge of the streets and 16 feet above street level. If trees are not trimmed by property owners, Mound City employees will begin trimming trees around Monday, July 15. The Mound City Firemen’s 3rd Annual Truck & Tractor Pull - Was held on Saturday, July 6.
