In accordance with paragraph 6 of the General Assembly resolution A/RES/71/280 on the modalities for the intergovernmental negotiations of the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration, and following a review in accordance with standard practice, I have the honor to enclose herewith a list of 418 non- governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions, private sector entities, diaspora communities and migrant organizations, who have applied to participate in the preparatory process.
I intend, in the absence of any objection by 2 May 2017, to approve the list for accreditation to participate in the preparatory process of the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration.
