The 35th Anniversary journey continues for the pioneers of progressive rock band YES, as fans will finally get what they have been asking for, the YES DVD. With returning band member Rick Wakeman joining legendary vocalist Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe and drummer Alan White letting you into their world as the ‘ultimate’ YES line-up.
As part of the early 70’s progressive music boom YES were quite obviously the leaders in their field, challenged only by the likes of ELP and Genesis. Mixing together classical music and Rock styles, YES became a huge stadium attraction and are still pulling huge audiences in their 35th Anniversary year.
The 3 hour film shot during their 35th Anniversary year is an intimate and humorous observation into their music, their life on the road and their own personal views. The DVD shows footage from the Worldwide tour as well as providing revealing interviews with all the band members which allow for the real characters of the YES line up to be expressed.
YES have been touring regularly over the past few years but their anniversary year has shown just how popular the prog-rockers still are.
