PRESS RELEASE 10/12/2013 FIA ERC: SANREMO (OCTOBER 12, 2013) PEUGEOT CLAIMS ITALIAN TITLE MORE HARD TIMES FOR THE PEUGEOT RALLY ACADEMY The 2013 Rallye Sanremo turned out to be a drama-packed and highly emotional roller-coaster ride! The Peugeot Rally Academy lost Jérémi Ancian on SS3, and an ’off’ on Day 1 forced his team-mate Craig Breen to make use of the ‘Rally2’ ruling. Peugeot Italy’s Paolo Andreucci also went ‘off’ while leading. Despite this cascade of incidents, 207S2000 driver Giandomenico Basso went on to clinch the win and hand Peugeot its seventh Italian Manufacturers’ title. Peugeot Sport’s customer competition ambassadors Once again, the challenging Rallye Sanremo provided an eloquent demonstration of the 207 S2000’s potential. Although now in its seventh season, it continues to deliver a winning cocktail of performance and reliability, not only in the case of the cars backed by the brand’s subsidiaries but also those run by privateer customers. “We make no difference between the two,” stresses Peugeot Sport Director Bruno Famin. “They all benefit from the same data, evolutions and recommendations.” In Italy, the 207 S2000 was in dominant form and the nail-biting scrap which opposed different Peugeot teams and drivers went down to the wire. Victory eventually ended up in the hands of Basso after a thrilling duel with Bouffier, despite the Frenchman dropping more than a minute after an ‘off’ on Friday afternoon. He responded by posting an impressive sequence of top times to close to within seven seconds of Basso going into the final stage. -

RALLY AND CHAMPIONSHIP VICTORY FOR PIRELLI IN SANREMO Milan, October 15, 2012 – Peugeot Italia driver Paolo Andreucci has become Italian Rally Champion for the seventh time, his sixth title with Pirelli, while the Pirelli-equipped Ford Fiesta of Giandomenico Basso won the Sanremo Rally last weekend. A third place finish for the privateer Peugeot of Alessandro Perico made it two Pirelli-equipped cars on the podium, rounding off a hugely successful weekend for the Italian tyre manufacturer, against stiff competition from the regular teams on the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, of which the Sanremo Rally was a scoring round once more. Of the top five finishers, four were equipped by Pirelli: thanks also to the brilliant performance from Stefano Albertini in another Peugeot 207 S2000. Pirelli introduced a new evolution within the famed RX family of tyres in Sanremo: the RX5c, which was made available to all competitors. The RX5c, which specifically targets long and moderately abrasive stages – a well-known hallmark of Sanremo – helped make the difference for Basso and Andreucci, while a strong performance from Perico underlined how the new tyre is equally effective in private hands. The latest RX7a tyre, a medium compound, was also available – and this was used by the majority of competitors in low temperatures and on the daunting 44- kilometre Ronde stage run in the dark on Friday night. Basso’s victory on this stage (one of five that he claimed on the 10-stage event) proved decisive to his overall success. Andreucci, who drove conservatively to fifth place in order to ensure another Italian title with Pirelli, said: “The product was good before, but the latest evolution has taken it to a different level, especially on long stages, both in terms of consistency and speed. -

After Kalle Rovanperä and Jonne Halttunen prematurely won the drivers’ titles of the new WRC 2 Pro category at Rally Wales GB, ŠKODA Motorsport rounded up the season by also taking the WRC 2 Pro manufacturers’ title of the FIA World Rally Championship 2019. PAOLO ANDREUCCI ED ANNA ANDREUSSI, PEUGEOT 208 T16 R5, VINCONO IL 63.RALLYE SANREMO E SONO ANCORA IN TESTA AL CAMPIONATO ITALIANO RALLY Con la vittoria del secondo appuntamento il pilota toscano si conferma leader della classifica tricolore. Secondi assoluti al rally sanremese hanno chiuso Alessandro Perico e Mauro Turati, altra 208 T16. 09/04/2016 – Paolo Andreucci, Anna Andreussi e la Peugeot 208 si aggiudicano il 63.Rallye Sanremo, gara organizzata dall’Automobile Club di Ponente Ligure. Il toscano e la vettura della casa del leone dopo aver vinto la gara due di oggi conquistano e dopo essere giunti terzi in gara uno hanno conquistato la classifica assoluta del rally. In questa classifica il toscano ha preceduto, il bergamasco Alessandro Perico, anche lui su Peugeot 208 r5 t16, ed il romagnolo Simone Campedelli, anche lui su una vettura del leone rampante. A seguito della doppia gara sanremese Andreucci guida la classifica generale del campionato davanti a Basso, Ford Fiesta ldi alimentata a Gpl, e Alessandro Perico, Peugeot 208 T16 R5. Quarto il veronese Scandola, Skoda Fabia R5. I due maggiori avversari di Paolo Andreucci nella corsa al titolo, Basso e Scandola, hanno avuto molti problemi in gara due. Il primo partito con un assetto non adatto alle pessime condizioni ambientali, ha forato a metà tappa retrocedendo nelle retrovie. Il secondo dopo essere stato attardato dalla nebbia ha toccato duramente perdendo la ruota posteriore destra, dovendosi ritirare. Ottime le prove del siciliano Andrea Nucita, a bordo di una Ford Fiesta s2000, di Rudy Michelini e di Ciava, entrambi su Citroen Ds3 R5 della Procar Motorsport. -

Dall’IRC al Tricolore del Salento: Rally Show PODIO MULTIMARCA al 44° RALLY DEL SALENTO: SKODA VINCE CON KOPECKY, ABARTH SECONDA CON BASSO, TERZA LA PEUGEOT DI ANDREUCCI. Filone d’oro per Skoda, reduce dalla vittoria all’IRC sugli sterrati della Sardegna con Hänninen. L’equipaggio della Repubblica Ceca composto da Jan Kopecky e Petr Stary, su Skoda Fabia S2000, ha trionfato nel 44° Rally del Salento (organizzato da Ciocco Centro Motori, con la collaborazione della Scuderia Piloti Salentini). I portacolori di Skoda Rally Team Italia hanno coperto le dodici Prove Speciali in 1h 30’30’’.3: al debutto sui difficili asfalti leccesi, hanno interpretato a meraviglia l’impegnativo tracciato di gara. La conferma definitiva per il ventottenne pilota ceko, che è driver ufficiale di Skoda Motorsport sia nell’Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC), sia nel tricolore. Al secondo posto, l’equipaggio composto da Giandomenico Basso e Mitia Dotta, su Abarth Grande Punto S2000, staccato di soli 3’’2. Sul terzo gradino del podio sono saliti Paolo Andreucci e Anna Andreussi, con la Peugeot 207 S2000, i Campioni Italiani in carica. Al quarto posto il leader della classifica tricolore provvisoria 2010, Luca Rossetti (Abarth), quinto Elvis Chentre (Peugeot) il vincitore del Salento 2009. Di rilievo il sesto posto di Andrea Longhi seguito da Andrea Navarra (Ford), settimo, e da Alessandro Perico (Peugeot), ottavo. Primo tra i giovani piloti del Campionato Junior si è classificato il varesino Andrea Crugnola, vincitore della tappa salentina del Trofeo Renault Clio R3. Primo della categoria Produzione è il valtellinese Andrea Perego (Mitsubishi Rally Project). Vincitore nel Trofeo Abarth 500 Rally , il parmense Roberto Vescovi.
