Work continues at a brisk pace with the sorting and data collection of the many OPENING TIMES Finds Boxes held at the centre.

We estimate that we have now sorted, re – bagged, updated and catalogued Monday afternoons approximately 200 boxes. 2.00 – 4.00  . Three of our most important sites, The Three Mariners, Arboretum U3A hold their Archaeology and 19-31 High Street, have boxes containing items of national meetings at the centre on importance so will be re-housed at the Bagshot Library for any future analysis. the second Monday of each  month, so we are not open We are optimistic that all boxes will have been checked and re-housed by Easter. on the following dates:

11.1.16 Those of you familiar with the centre may well be saying: 8.2.16 ‘But what about everything else?’ 14.3.16 

From Easter we intend to box the reference collection from the Pot Room, Tuesday evenings the pipe collection, coin collection and of course the items in the Main Gallery, all 7.30 – 9.00 in readiness for the move.

The maps and site records in the Office will be moved at the same time. We can open on other  dates by prior At the same time we are now looking to start sorting the rooms and begin the task arrangement: contact of discarding furniture and other non-archaeological items. details below Hopefully some of the furniture will find new homes. 

If you would like to come We will let you know when you may have the opportunity to come along and take along to help us in a variety any pieces over the next few months.
