Cast Bios

JUDD NELSON (Kris/Santa) – is best known for being a member of the "" in the mid-, and for his roles as John Bender in “,” Alec Newbary in “St. Elmo's Fire” and Jack Richmond in “Suddenly Susan.”

Nelson was born and raised in Portland, Maine, the first of three children to Merle Nelson, the retired five-term State Representative. After graduating from St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire, Nelson attended Haverford/Bryn Mawr Colleges, in Pennsylvania where he studied philosophy. He also began acting in college theatrical productions, and performing in summer stock. Ultimately, Judd decided to leave college, his sophomore year, for NYC to study under the legendary acting teacher Stella Adler. After two years with Ms. Adler at her conservatory, Nelson made his motion-picture debut in the film “Fandango,” co-starring alongside a young .

Nelson has been working in film, television and theatre ever since, appearing in the television show “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” as a friend of a murder victim and “Eleventh Hour” as a psychologist researching soldiers returning from Iraq who suffer from Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Nelson plays the host in “The Real Fear Factor,” a spoof on “Fear Factor,” in “National Lampoon's TV: The Movie.” In 2009, Nelson appeared in the sequel “The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day.”

More recently, he portrayed Father Charley Lock on “Brookwood Sleazebags,” a pilot he did for HBO. Nelson also reprised his role of Rodimus Prime from the 1986 “Transformers” movie for the newest “Transformers” television series, “Transformers Animated.” Nelson appeared at the 2010 Academy Awards to pay tribute to late film director along with other cast members of Hughes' films.

JUSTIN LANDRY (Randal) - Canadian-born comic actor Justin Landry burst onto the scene in 1999 when he was named Best New Comic at Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club, and soon afterwards he wrote, directed and starred in "The Justin Landry Show" an independent project that won him attention in Toronto and Los Angeles and became a college campus cult hit.

Growing up the son of (mostly intentionally) funny parents and a funny, dramatic sister (ditto), and involved in theatre and performance in his small-town community of Oshawa, Ontario, Landry found immediate success as a professional actor, appearing in a number of national television commercials airing both in Canada and the United States. He also landed a hosting job on the nationally-televised quiz show "SmartAsk!" which aired on the CBC and landed a deal with MTV in Los Angeles. In recent years, Landry has won over numerous fans by starring in a

number of award-winning and internationally-recognized commercials. He earned a "Best Actor in a Commercial" award in 2008 for his work in a campaign for Diet 7Up. He regularly lends his voice to numerous TV and radio commercials, as well as a number of animated series. "Cancel Christmas" marks Landry's first leading role in a film and he was thrilled to work with Judd Nelson and such a talented cast of young and veteran performers.

Landry currently lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter.

SANTE SCALETTA (Farley Morgan) - Sante Scaletta was born April 23, 1995 in Ottawa, Ontario where he resides with his identical twin brother Dominic, younger sister Bianca and his parents. His father of Italian heritage is a sales executive and small business owner. Scaletta’s mother is a teacher and sales representative with a keen interest in the Arts.

Scaletta is being raised in a Catholic environment and has benefited from an elementary school that valued the Arts which led him to the key role in the musical The Passion of Christ playing Jesus Christ. His twin brother played opposite him in the role of Judas. This was Scaletta’s true foray into drama at the tender age of 12 and he has not looked back. Scaletta performed this play at six Ottawa elementary schools and for the Ottawa Catholic School Board. The production was also documented and featured by the Ottawa Citizen.

Scaletta was accepted into the Drama program of the esteemed Canterbury High School of Performing Arts. His recent work includes the feature film “My Family’s Secret,” an Xbox commercial with the Jonas Brothers, a NIKE “Force Fate” commercial (with his twin brother by his side) featuring Jerome Iginla promoting the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and a Coke print ad also for the Olympics.

Scaletta is passionate about his family, his faith, sports (in particular hockey and golf) and his desire to be the best actor he can on film and the stage.

CONNOR PRICE (Steve Rojack) – Connor Price’s big break came with his portrayal of Jay Braddock in the Ron Howard feature film “Cinderella Man” starring Russell Crowe as Jim Braddock and Renee Zellweger as his wife Mae. Most recently, he appeared in the CBS television pilot “Back” alongside Skeet Ulrich and completed filming of the Nickelodeon’s television pilot “Summer Camp” and the Discovery Kids anthology “The Haunting Hour.”

Stephen King fans will recognize Price for his role of J.J. Bannerman, in the last season of “Dead Zone” for USA Network opposite , for which he won a Young Artists Award for Best Performance in a TV Series by a young actor. Other recent credits include the feature

film “The Wheeler Boys,” “Good Luck Chuck” as a young Dane Cook and the screen adaptation of “The Stone Angel” starring Ellen Burnstyn as well as the co-starring role of Stefan in “Roxy and the Horrific Halloween” for Nickelodeon.

Price also appeared in the feature films “Republic of Love,” “Fancy Dancing,’ starring Jason Priestley and Dave Thomas and “Men with Brooms,” an Alliance Atlantis/Serendipity production starring and directed by Paul Gross with Leslie Nielson and Molly Parker.

Other television highlights include the MOW’s “Booky’s Crush” (CBC), “Stuart McLean’s Xmas Pageant” (CBC), “Sins of the Father,” a Robert Dornhelm production starring Richard Jenkins and Tom Sizemore, and “Crossed Over,” a CBS/Alliance Atlantis production, playing opposite Diane Keaton as her son.
