TTC in coordination with the Yukon College had residents of Teslin learn about the installation, maintenance, harvesting practices, including choosing trees for biomass, limbing, bucking options and the storage of chips. Course covered the processing of chips from standing tree to chips in a hopper, and included a discussion on central processing versus distributed processing. There are many elements that the group had to cover in order to run the Biomass heating systems efficiently. In 2015, Canadians were affected by 1,600 ransomware attacks a day.1 By September 2016, the attacks nearly doubled. Those are the known cases. Unfortunately, many incidents still go unreported. ELDERS SHOPPING DAYS 2017 Meals on Wheels June 28, (Wednesday) This federal program improves the nutritional status of July 27, (Thursday) people in the community and promotes their capacity to live independently. The program is open to all August 29, (Tuesday) residents in Teslin over 65 years old (without referral) September 27, (Wednesday) and to the disabled (long & short term)-with referral. October 27, (Friday) Meals on Wheels is managed by T.T.C Health & Social Department delivered to clients home on Tuesday and November 28, (Tuesday) Thursdays. December 20, (Wednesday)

Community lunch is also provided by meals on wheels Scheduled stops will be at Walmart/Canadian Tire/ program and served every second Wednesday at the Superstore or Independent Grocery Store. We are long house (open to whole community) unable to handle large items on these shopping trips June 7 & 21 ( Tv, vacuums, chairs, tables, rugs, etc. due to limited space.
