Details Accra, Ghana, September 10th - Infinix Mobility launched its latest device, the Infinix HOT 2 to the Ghanaian market in collaboration with Jumia, Google and MTN on Wednesday, September 9th, this following the launch in Nigeria last week. The device, which is the first smartphone on the Android OneTM program in Africa, will enable all users enjoy the latest version of Android with guaranteed software upgrades up to two years after release, premium hardware specs and a wide range of customized apps.

The Infinix Hot 2 also known as #TheHottestOne by Jumia, Infinix and MTN for weeks now. Through Google Play, Android One phone users have access to over one million apps that allow them to message friends, make video calls, socialize, check news and weather, and play games. Google services such as Gmail, Google Maps, YouTube, Google Search, and Google Translate will come pre-installed on the Infinix HOT 2.

The smartphone comes in two variations; the standard version, which will be available in black, white, blue and red, and the premium version which will be available in gold. The Infinix Hot 2 boasts of a 5 inch HD and double glass screen with curves in all the right places. Powered by a Mediatek 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor and a 2GB RAM, users can play 3D games on the Infinix Hot 2 in addition to an extraordinary experience while watching videos in high-definition (HD). The Infinix HOT 2 promises the fastest and most responsive Android experience ever and with 16GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB with SD card, you have all the space you would ever need for your cherished files. Additionally, the Infinix Hot 2 has dual sim capabilities and an 8 megapixel rear and 2 megapixel front camera. As with other phones running the latest Android Lollipop, users of the Infinix HOT 2 can automatically enable the new battery saver feature to extend battery life by 90 minutes. Users can also see the estimated time left before they need to recharge, and when charging, they can also see the estimated time for the battery to become fully charged. The operating system offers users more control over data usage by offering a two-quick swipe control to turn data on or off; they can also easily check data usage.
