Governor Telephone (609) 292-5106 Director Facsimile (609) 984-4425 January 15, 2021 REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR AND THE LEGISLATURE AS REQUIRED BY P.L. 1987, c.177 (Report on corporations doing business in Northern Ireland whose securities are held by the State pension and annuity funds) P.L. 1987, c.177 requires the Division of Investment to file a report by January 15 of each year regarding the adherence of United States corporations or their subsidiaries doing business in Northern Ireland, in which the assets of any State pension fund or annuity fund are invested, to various principles stated in the law and collectively known as the MacBride Principles. The law further provides that the Division may use information disseminated by independent agencies if the information satisfies the requirements of the law. We utilized ISS ESG as the source of information to identify those United States corporations with operations in Northern Ireland in which the assets of the State pension and annuity funds were invested as of October 31, 2020, and to provide reports on their adherence to the principles set forth in the law. Attached hereto is the report prepared by ISS ESG.     Disclosure of information relating to GUIDE Jersey entities Last reviewed: February 2021 The Financial Services (Disclosure and Provision of Information) (Jersey) Law 2020 and some ancillary legislation amending the law and filling in certain details (the Registry Law), came into force on 6 January 2021. Purpose and overview of the Registry Law The Registry Law provides a new legal framework for requiring entities to disclose certain information to the Jersey Financial Services Commission (the JFSC), in line with the international anti-money laundering standard set by Financial Action Task Force (FATF) Recommendation 24. In many respects, the Registry Law is a restatement of pre-existing obligations but there are some new concepts and new obligations, which can be summarised as: What's new? What's not changed?
