BVNW girls soccer team promotes charity event April 15th The BVNW girls soccer team is promoting a charity event next Thursday night (4/15) at the Varsity and JV home game against Blue Valley Southwest. Please consider donating in person or online! https://give.goproject.org/BVNWgirlsoccer

Congratulations The Express took first place in the newspaper special edition division in the National Scholastic Press Association’s Best of Show Spring Contest. This was for the newspaper’s February issue on race. Individual national honors were won by:

Press Release - New Head Coach - Pending BOE Approval Pending BOE Approval, The Blue Valley Northwest Athletic Department is proud to announce the hiring of Zack Orrick as the new Head Wrestling Coach. Coach Orrick becomes only the 2nd Head Wrestling Coach in the history of the BVNW High School Wrestling Program after taking over after the retirement of Coach Tim Serbousek. Read more…

The BVNW Track and Field team had another fantastic performance at the Blue Valley Relay’s on Friday April 9th. Boys Results: - In the Boys 1600 Meter Run, Nate Schemmel placed 3rd with a time of 4:39 - The 4x 100 Meter Relay Team placed 3rd with a time of 45.09 - The 4 x 110 Meter Shuttle Hurdle Relay Team placed 3rd with at time of 1:15 - The 4 x 200 Meter Relay Team placed 2nd with a time of 1:35 - The Distance Medley Relay Team placed 2nd with a time of 11:15 - Nathan Cassidy placed 4th in the pole volt - Gabe Peterson placed 2nd in shot put and 3rd in discuss - Dylan Barthol placed 3rd in the Javelin throw

Girls Results: - Emma Bartholome placed 2nd in the 300 Hurdles with a time of 50.05 - The 4 x 800 Meter Relay Team placed 1st with a time of 10:08 - The Distance Medley Relay Team Placed 1st with a time of 13:01
