[2] [2] [2] Years active 2004 (2004)-present LabelsGlacononotteOsciative actsJuliet Sims, Veronica Ballestrini, Rebel RoadsWebsiteOfficial Band Members John Vesel Serenade is an American rock band led by vocalist, pianist and guitarist Johns Veli. Veselnitskaya has released four studio albums so far under the name Second Hand Serenade: Awake in 2007, A Twist in My Story in 2008, Hear Me Now in 2010 and Undefeated in 2014. His debut album used a multitrack to create sound from a band using technology,[5] while his second album took a different path, using a suitable band and synthesizer to create a more complete sound. [6] The history of history, the first edition (2004-2006) John Vesely formed a second-hand serenade in his hometown of Menlo Park in California, USA, in 2004. Veselnitskaya grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in a humorous family and as the son of a jazz musician. He began to get into music at the age of 12. He spent eight years playing bass in local bands, featuring several acts ranging in style from ska and hardcore to rock and pop. [8] One of the bands in which he played, Sounds Like Life, included elsewhere in the Bay Area artist Ronnie Day. After years of bass, he chose an acoustic guitar. Veselnitskaya follows john onodrasik's tradition of wrestling. Veselnitskaya is also the son of a Czech immigrant. [9] John Glees found success as a second-hand serenade. [10] While some artists may fear the rawness of playing with just an acoustic guitar, John welcomes the honesty with which he comes. He argues that in some ways a band is stronger, but in other ways there are things you can do with one voice and one acoustic guitar that you couldn't do with an army of musicians behind you. In 2005, Veselnitskaya released her debut album Awake. It was recorded as a demo after a few days in a Studio in San Francisco earlier in 2005, using only acoustic guitar and multitrack vocals. [12] The album was promoted through the second-hand Serenade MySpace page and during the concerts of local shows. CDs were originally sold by mail order with a PayPal account from Veselnitskaya, eventually registering with distributor TuneCore, making Second Serenade songs available on music portals, including iTunes. [13] The album has tremendous online support, and by the end of 2006, the Second Hand serenade had received millions of plays on MySpace and had been the #1 independent social media artist for months. Financially, it is said to lead to up to $20,000 per month from downloads and sales of goods outside your home. [12] He sold over 15,000 copies of the album himself,[14] and on the strength of those sales and the support, of course, the labels came knocking. The second-hand serenade was signed by longtime label executive Daniel Glass, to his new label Glassnote Records, which is distributed through independent label group Warner. [13] In 2006, Rolling Stone announced a second-hand serenade as No. [14] Awake reissued (2007) in early 2007, Awake was reissued by Glassnote Records with two more songs. It was released on January 31 and gave Veselnitskaya her first charts, debuting at number 16 on the Top Heatseekers billboard chart. [13] They led to success at number 164 on the Billboard 200, number 3 in Top Heatseekers and number 19 in the Independent Albums chart. In support of her first edition of the label, Veselnitskaya was featured on MTV's Hear It Hear It First, Breakers of AOL Music Yahoo! Music Who's Next? [13] and appeared on the late-night show with Conan O'Brien. He also played numerous shows, including tours with Hawthorne Hyde and All-American Rejects and at music festivals south of the Southwest and alongside My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park at The Bamboo. [13] Second hand Serenade released only one song from the debut album Vulnerable. The song created a music video created by Frank Borin, who was in charge of Red Hot Chili Peppers' video for hit single Danny California. [14] Vulnerable reached 83 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 64 on the pop 100 and No. Twist in My Story (2008–2009) Twist in My Story was released on February 19, 2008 and includes songs from Awake such as Maybe Your Conversation, but reproduced with a full band. Most of the album, however, is a list of new songs written by John Glees and recorded with a full band. Two Twist in My Story songs were produced by renowned producer Butch Walker, while the others were produced by former Nine Inch Manicure member Danny Loner. The first single Fall for You was released on January 21, 2008. The album has expired and is available for download one month before its official release. On January 28, 2008, the video of the first single from the album Fall for You was presented on the MTV show TRL. In support of the release, second-hand serenade spent most of march and April touring with American bands April, Auto Lover, and The White Tie Affair. Members of his touring band are Steve Shebi on bass, Lucas Veselnitskaya (brother of Glee) of Keyesy, Ryan Cooke (bassist of the White Tie Affair) on guitar and Tom Brefogle on drums. The title A Twist in My Story is a reference to Veselnitskaya's 2008 divorce from ex-wife Candice. who has two young sons. [15] Veselnitskaya split with Candice in August 2007 when the songs for A Twist in My Story were created. In November 2008, the first single of the album Fall for You was certified by RIAA. [16] As of December 5, 2008 Fall for You was 13 of the American top 40 songs in the country. [17] The video of your conversation is filmed on FNMTV on December 5. It can be viewed on the FNMTV website. He posted a video of the song Maybe on his MySpace page on May 4, 2009. This is a video of his concerts and trips around the world and was shot and directed by his tour operator Preston Jones and his drummer Tom Braifogle. The luxury edition of A Twist in My Story was released on February 3, 2009. It contains 5 bonus songs, including a radio version of Your Conversation, an acoustic version of Fall for You, an acoustic version of Like a Knife, his single Last Time and coldplay cover Fix You. Serenade's second-hand album was titled Hear Me Now and was released on August 3, 2010.Thanks to Chris Lypa and his local michigan band for album additions, the album was also announced. In a recent interview, Veselnitskaya said the new album will be bigger than his latest album, which focuses on relationships. [19] Second-hand Serenade - vocalist and composer John Vesley - is back with his third album, Hear Me Now, from August 3 on ILG/Glassnote Records. Eight of the 11 songs on the album were produced by Aaron Johnson (The Fray) at Swing House studios in Los Angeles. The other three, including the first single Something More, were produced by John Gleeson himself, along with drummer Tom Brefogel of Second Hand in The Merry Home Studio and mixed by Mark Endert (Train, Maroon 5). What's more, it will debut at 7:40 a.m. on May 17 on Kid Kraddick's national syndicated radio show and will be available on iTunes on June 1. [18] On June 1, Something More was released on iTunes as a luxury single with bonus song You Are Narcotic – a video that shows the creation of Something More and a digital brochure of the new single. Juliet Simms' vocals from the American rock band Automatic Loveletter were featured in the song Hear Me Now and on the cover of Fix You, originally performed by british rock band Coldplay. On July 21, while on tour in Dallas, Veselnitskaya announced that a download package for the Rock Band, including numerous second-hand hits including Fall for You, would soon be available. On July 27, Veselnitskaya added eleven songs from the new album to her MySpace and made them available to streaming for fans. Many of these songs have also been leaked to sites like YouTube. On November 23, 2010, Veselnitskaya launched a free online download for a demo of a new EP song titled Let Me In. 1. The new album's single is a new version of You & i featuring Cady Groves. In March 2011, Veselnitskaya announced that she was in control of the new EP and that she would be weightless. Weightlessness was released digitally on May 3, 2011 and consists of five songs: Our Time, Let Me In, Animal (Neon Trees Cover), You "I (Aoustic)&and Never Too Late. Departing Glassnote and Invincible (2012, currently) Veselnitskaya launched a Pledgemusic campaign in January 2012, which he promoted on Twitter and Facebook to fund the recording of his next album. He announced on his Pledgemusic page that he had left his record company to start again. He said he wanted to focus on music and not engage in the politics of industry, expectations and all the other unnatural pressures that come along with engaging with companies and corporations, and sarcastically cited creative differences as a reason to leave his record company in a video, with the caption that read: LOOL!!!.

  • USA TODAY (2/16) on the Verge: Chris Wallace Opts to 'Push Rewind
USA TODAY (2/16) http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/music/2013/02/15/on-the-verge-chris-wallace-push-rewind/1897223/ On the Verge: Chris Wallace opts to 'Push Rewind' solo by: Brian Mansfield The former White Tie Affair frontman steps out on his own. As usual, everything goes back to a girl. Chris Wallace wrote his effervescent pop hit Remember When (Push Rewind) about the one he was seeing when his career took off. That relationship fell apart under the strain of pursuing pop stardom, but eternal optimist Wallace likes to look back at its best times. "As my future got bright, we started losing light, and I couldn't see that you were the one," he sings in the first verse of the song, which is No. 24 on USA TODAY's top 40 airplay chart. The song's video, much of which plays backward, has 1.27 million YouTube views. "Remember Whenis like a celebration of that relationship, like 'remember when everything was amazing' and questioning why we ever said goodbye," says Wallace, 27. "I guess, at the end of the day, I'm pretty positive. Even though the album's called Push Rewind, I'm always looking forward." An Affair to remember: Wallace's previous group, the White Tie Affair, broke out of the Chicago pop-punk scene, notched a No. 22 top 40 hit with Candle (Sick and Tired) in 2009 and toured with Lady Gaga. But it was a short-lived Affair. "We took a little break, and it became a permanent break," Wallace says.

Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} Good Charlotte by Carol Beach York Good Charlotte. Good Charlotte is a band from Waldorf, Maryland, United States that formed in 1996. They took the name 'Good Charlotte' from a children's book: Good Charlotte: The Girls Of Good Day Orphanage by Carol Beach York. They have released four albums, most notably 2002's multiplatinum seller The Young and the Hopeless, which spawned the chart topping singles, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," "The Anthem," and "Girls & Boys. The band's third album is 2004's The Chronicles of Life and Death and the fourth and most recent released 2007 is called "Good Morning Revival". The band is fronted by twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden, born in Waldorf, Maryland. Other members of the band include their friends Billy Martin and Paul Thomas. Good Charlotte's frontmen, identical twins Joel and Benji Madden, were born on March 11, 1979 to a middle class family in Waldorf, Maryland. Their mother raised them with a strict, devout Catholic up-bringing. Their father left the family when the twins were 16 years old, causing financial problems for the twins, their mother, older brother, and younger sister. For a short period of time the twins had to work as shampoo boys in a salon. Benji and Joel cite their older brother Josh Madden for introducing them to rock music by bands such as The Beach Boys and Social Distortion. After attending a Beastie Boys concert at the age of 16, Benji and Joel decided to start their very own band, although Joel had never sung before, and Benji had never played guitar.
