Article 12 - Holidays 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 Holiday Schedules
MCOE and CSEA Chapter 35 hereby agree to the following to replace Article 12.1: Holidays as a part of successor negotiations for the July 1, 2021- June 30, 2024 collective bargaining agreement and the holiday schedule for 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
1. 12.1 All regular employees shall be entitled to the following fifteen (15) annual holidays if they are twelve (12) month employees. Regular employees who work less than twelve (12) months shall be entitled to holidays if they are in paid status during the working day immediately preceding or succeeding the holiday.

* This day is a holiday in lieu of Admissions Day and shall be observed on a day mutually agreed to by the Superintendent/Designee and CSEA.

1. For the 2021-2022 year, the Cesar Chavez Day/ Juneteenth Holiday shall be observed on Thursday, March 31, 2022. For the 2022-2023 year, the Cesar Chavez Day/ Juneteenth Holiday shall be observed on June 19, 2023.
2. It is hereby agreed that the following list of holidays shall be in effect for the 2022-2023 school year.
