The Fleet Farm Barns are sheltered from the road by the original Fleet Farmhouse, just off Little Street, and back onto open paddocks and farmland.

The Fleet Farm site seeks to provide each barn with generous living accommodation and gardens arranged to maximise privacy and minimise the impact of the buildings from the highway. The barns are named after the families in the tree in honour of the history of the village and the Manor.

Plot 1, the Croft Barn, is tucked into the corner of the site with the most private rear garden. Plot 2, the Washington Barn, is the largest barn on the site in the corner of the L-shape barn with extensive views over the fields to the rear. Plot 3, the Kytson Barn, sits on the edge of the L-shape barn adjacent to the paddock access with extensive views over fields to the rear. Plot 4, The Westfield Barn, is the only detached barn on the site sitting adjacent to the original Fleet Farmhouse.

All our homes are built in accordance with all relevant technical and building regulations. In addition, all stages of the construction of your new home will be extensively inspected by our experienced construction and sales team prior to handing the keys over to you.

The NHBC imposes mandatory technical requirements that we must meet when building our properties. The standards are divided into ten parts covering design, materials and site-works, all of which follow clearly defined build sequences and are accompanied by key-stage inspections throughout the build.

As the NHBC also provide us with our on-site Health and Safety and Building Control services meaning that we cannot build or complete a property without their approval. Simply put, we cannot sell a home without the NHBC’s authorisation.

We want you to settle in and start enjoying your new home as quickly as possible. A few days before you are due to legally complete our customer care team will arrange to meet you at your new home to run demonstrate the fixtures, systems and appliances to ensure that you are happy and familiar with their operation.

You will be provided a new homes pack with full information on the appliances, specifications and details about your home as well as our customer care team’s contact details.

A few days after you have moved in we will contact you to ensure that all is well with your new home and arrange to meet you should there be any minor snagging that you would like to bring to our attention. We will then meet with you again after a month and close to the end of the Accueil Care period to ensure a long-lasting quality and finish is achieved.

Should however anything go wrong between our scheduled visits you can always call or email our customer care team and they will arrange for the relevant engineers to attend.

Once your Accueil Care period has ended your home is covered by the NHBC Buildmark Warranty, the same policy that protects around 80% of all new homes built in the UK providing consumer protection for more than 75 years.

Although we work hard to ensure our standard specification and designs are comprehensive and suitable for day-to-day use, we appreciate that we may envision a room laid out differently to how our buyers would and therefore our layouts, for electrics for example, would mean light switches and sockets are not in the correct position. We offer a full customisation service to our buyers to allow them to personalise their new home.

Customisations are offered in line with the build process and therefore the earlier a property is reserved, the more alterations can be accommodated. Once we have exceeded deadlines in the build process the standard specification will be implemented but we can quote for alterations if required.

All buyers are offered their own choice of kitchen finishes, tiling, floor coverings and wall colours from our selection as standard, and any alterations or choices outside of our selection that will incur additional costs will be quoted for.

Our kitchen designers will meet with our buyers independently to ensure you achieve the style and finish that you wish for with any gadgetry and appliances that are required.

In the case of the barns there may be restrictions on external finishes as the properties lie within a conservation area. We will endeavour to incorporate as many customer requests as possible but alterations may be subject to approval from the conservation officer.
