Lucy Torres-Gomez by two Ormocanons for having no basis. The congresswoman is seeking her last term in office on May 13, 2019, however, the petitioners against her are claiming it is her fourth term, which is a violation of the three-term rule. Petitioners Noelito Wagas and Jeffrey Dubal, known loyalists of Torres-Gomez’s political foe Eufrocino Codilla Jr., claims that even if Rep. Gomez was ordered disqualified in 2013 after she substituted husband Richard Gomez, she continued to report to Congress and functioned as congresswoman. In her defense, Rep. Lucy T. Gomez said that the petition against her was base- less. She said that after her 2010 win was questioned with a quo warranto, she was ORCHAM, headed by Jude P. Abenoja, formally turns over trash bins for recyclable bottles to the Local Government Unit of Ormoc on April 26, dropped from the House of Representa- 2019. The trash bins are now placed in public places and government establishments around the city. In fact, these were used during the city’s tives in March 2013 after the Supreme hosting of EVRAA 2019. The Tzu Chi Foundation, on the other hand, will do the daily collection of the recyclable bottles. -
