GENERAL REGULATIONS

The Tallinn Trophy 2019 will be conducted in accordance with the ISU Constitution and General Regulations 2018, ISU Special Regulations and Technical Rules for Ice Dance 2018, Special Regulations for Single & Pair Skating and Technical Rules for Single and Pair Skating 2018, all pertinent ISU Communications for Novice Categories and all other relevant ISU Communications. Participation in Tallinn Trophy 2019 is open to all competitors who belong to an ISU Member, Rule 109, paragraph 1, and qualify with regard to eligibility, according to Rule 102, provided their ages fall within the limits specified in Rule 108, paragraph 2 and they meet the participation, citizenship and residency requirements in Rule 109, paragraphs 1 through 5 and relevant ISU Communication or any update of it. Passports of the skaters, as well as the ISU Clearance Certificate, if applicable, must be presented at the accreditation. Competitors taking part in Senior, Junior and Advanced Novice category must be entered through their respective Member Federation.

Entries for young categories (Advanced Novice and younger) may be accepted by clubs, which are members of National Figure Skating Federations, associated with the ISU.

ENTRIES Citizen / Residence requirements and Clearance Procedure In accordance with Rule 109 of ISU Regulations and ISU Communication 2030, 2225 or any update of it, all skaters who do not have the nationality of the Member by which they have been entered or who, although having such nationality, have in the past represented another Member, must produce an ISU Clearance Certificate upon registration.

The Organizer reserves the right to limit the number of competitors and judges, if there is such a need, or to accept more competitors in every category. Entries must be done though the email to the OC ([email protected]). With the entry forms, the “Program Content Sheet” must be returned to the Organizing Committee in time. It is mandatory that the Program Content Sheet must be filled in precisely by each Skater/Team in English using the terminology for the elements listed in the respective ISU Communication. Entry form must be returned to the OC by October 11th, 2019.

NB!! Attention! The deadline for submission of entry forms is October 11th, 2019. Planned program contents must be provided by October 11th, 2019. All program contents received later than October 11th, 2019 may not be accepted.

ENTRY FEE

Single Skating with one program: 75 EUR Single Skating with two programs: 90 EUR

The entry fee will not be refunded in case of withdrawals for any reason. Each federation must pay for its participants 100% of the total amount right after the entry form confirmation.

ACCREDITATION Accreditation will take place at the ice rink. The time will be announced later. The exact time is announced in the Time Schedule.

MUSIC Music must be recorded on CD-s/USB-s and submitted at the time of accreditation. The music Medias must be of good quality and labeled clearly with the Competitor's name, Nation, category and the exact music time. Each program must be recorded on a separate disc. All CD-s/USB-s will be returned to the team leader by the end of the competition at the ice rink.

ACCOMMODATION All participants must book and pay the accommodation by themselves. The Organizer will make room arrangements for INVITED officials only.

Event Officials will be accommodated by the OC. Transportation will be provided between Hotel and the Ice Rink.

TRANSPORTATION There will be no organized transportation from/to the airport. Transportation package between the Official Hotel and Ice Rink will be provided free of charge. Transportation schedule will be handed out at the accreditation.

EXPENSES All participants and teams must pay the accommodation and transportation themselves. The Organizer will not cover any expenses of competitors.

OFFICIALS Members are kindly requested to nominate an International/ISU Judge. Double duty judges (Singles/Ice Dance) are very welcome. The nomination of one substitute judge is also appreciated. The final composition of the panels will be determined after the closing of entries and will be communicated to participating Members in due time. Organizer will send out invitations to the officials from the confirmed final panel. Organizer will incur the accommodation costs for the INVITED officials only. Meals for the invited officials will be provided at the ice rink during the competition.

AWARDING The three best-placed competitors in each event will be awarded with a trophy and a diploma. All other competitors will receive participation certificate and a gift.

RESULTS The result of all categories will be calculated with the “New ISU Judging system” and published on competition website in live.

LIABILITY In accordance with ISU Rule 119 the Organizer accepts no liability for injury, property loss or damages incurred by Competitors or Officials. The Organizer will provide medical emergency aid during the competition.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Time Schedule will be announced after the deadline of entry forms. Time Schedule will be published on the competition website (www.tallinntrophy.eu) and sent to all participating Members via e-mail.
