sessions on Monday afternoons. All Y5/6 pupils will

enjoy taster sessions.

Holly, Emily and Tracy As a general rule I would never recommend a mobile phone is purchased for a child of primary school age but some of our pupils do have them. Please take a look at the apps list being sent out via Parentmail which could pose risks for a child if installed or not carefully monitored. This list was compiled by Lancashire Police.

Please try to get pupils though the gates in the morning by 8:55am, at the latest, thank you. Both gates will shut at 8.55am. This then gives the children time to put their coats and bags away before being registered in class at 9:00am.

This morning, I attended Breakfast Club and ate beans on toast whilst listening to music. The meal was deli- cious and I can highly recommend the club to parents looking for wrap-around care. The atmosphere was very calm, relaxed and the children attending were very ac- commodating of a newcomer! I played chess and helped with a Disney jigsaw too - a great way to start the day.

The clubs have now been on sale for a week and it’s excellent that some of them are full, with waiting lists if anymore spaces become available. However, sadly the following clubs are not likely to run due to low numbers:

Y5/6 Cookery Club KS1 Board Games KS1 Cosmic Yoga

Y4,5 & 6 Art Club

KS1 Dance club is also undersubscribed and will there- fore be moved to join KS2 Dance Club on a Monday. If this causes problems, please let us know and we can refund your payment. The final decision on clubs will be made at 10am tomorrow morning, so please, if you haven't yet done so, please book your Alan Brannen child’s place.
