GLAWDIATORIAL TRAINING MONDAY AUGUST 18: 10:30AM – 11:30AM BURWASH QUAD Team building challenges to get you acquainted with your table. E-ZONE THURSDAY AUGUST 21: 7:30PM – 11PM MEET YOUR CHARIOT (BUS) IN FRONT OF FALCONER A “corporate event venue”: i.e. laser tag, bumper cars, and the like. PUBLIC INTEREST LUNCH FRIDAY AUGUST 22: 12PM – 2PM BURWASH QUAD Meet the directors of the public interest programs at the faculty of law. There will also be a BBQ. INCLUSIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FRIDAY AUGUST 22: 2PM – 4PM NORTHROP FRYE ROOM 003 A mandatory inclusivity training session hosted by the faculty and presented by Anita Balakrishna. GLAWDIATORIAL GAMES FRIDAY AUGUST 22: 4PM – 8PM MEET WITH YOUR TABLES IN BURWASH QUAD A series of challenges and activities (gladiator joust, tug of war and other games) for you to win points towards the Emperor’s Cup. 7 JAYS GAME SATURDAY AUGUST 23: 1PM – 4PM ROGERS CENTRE A group will be meeting at Bora’s Head (outside Birge Carnegie) to take the subway down at 12:30pm. Otherwise, meet everyone outside our gate (TBA) at 12:45. Please register beforehand. MOVIE NIGHT SATURDAY AUGUST 23: 8PM – MIDNIGHT BURWASH QUAD Bring a blanket and your appetite for movie theater popcorn and come see the giant movie screen we’ve set up in Burwash Quad. Of course, we will be watching Gladiator. CUPCAKES AND COFFEE HOUSE THURSDAY AUGUST 28: 4PM – 6PM ALUMNI HALL Come hear the musical talents of your professors, or sign up to show off your own. Coffee and cupcakes will be served. TOGA PUB CRAWL THURSDAY AUGUST 28: 8PM – 2AM TBA Each table will be starting at its own pub and eventually everyone will meet at one epic location. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed, so don’t forget your laurel wreaths and Roman sandals. OPTIONAL BEACH DAY AT THE ISLAND FIRDAY AUGUST 29: 12PM – 6PM GIBRALTAR POINT Meet at 11:15 in front of Bora’s Head (Birge Carnegie) to take the subway, or find everyone at noon (or after) in front of Gibraltar Point Centre for the Arts on Center Island. Don’t forget sunscreen and a towel. EMPEROR’S BALL (SEMI FORMAL) SATURDAY AUGUST 30: 8PM – 1AM HART HOUSE GRAND HALL The most anticipated event of O-Week. Dress yourself up, memorize the path from your door to your bed, and join us for a party. There are also doggie days during exams! Faith and Spiritual Life Among other things, a prayer space is available for students in Falconer Hall.
