DS isponible à la commande dès aujourd'hui sur le département, le DS7 CROSSBACK se veut l'incarnation du luxe à la française, version SUV. Compact (4,57m), ce concurrent direct des X1, Q3, DGLA et autre Evoque, compte sur sa plastique suggestive et son habitacle où abonde matériaux nobles (cuirs, bois, alu, etc.) et haute technologie (éclairage pivotant à 180°, système de vision de nuit à caméra infrarouge, …) pour faire la différence. ■ CONCESSIONS 9 e COMPASS est de retour. Cinq variantes de moteurs sont disponibles, de 115ch à 190ch, parmi lesquels 4 nouveautés. Lancement annoncé d'ici la fin de l'année. ■ ŠKODA e T-ROC, prévu chez nous en toute fin d'année, tire parti des atouts de sa VOLKSWAGEN nouvelle plateforme (MQB AO) qu'il Lpartage avec l'Arona, lui assurant un empattement de 2,59m. Résultat, son habitabilité est généreuse aux places arrière et son volume de chargement supérieur à 400 litres. Design, sérieux et compromis confort/dynamisme exceptionnel avec la suspension pilotée, le T-Roc compte également sur ses motorisations «maison», sa transmission 4Motion et sa boîte DSG, pour faire la différence. ■ DÉBUT 2018... PORSCHE a troisième génération du CAYENNE sera dévoilée en fin d'année pour une commercialisation en 2018. Basé sur la plateforme du Bentley Bentayga, ce nouvel opus sera plus léger d’environ 100kg Let reprendra le dessin agressif du Macan à l'avant, pour s'inspirer de la Panamera à l'arrière et à l'intérieure - un habitacle ultra connecté, avec de nouvelles aides à la conduite, dont un mode semi-autonome... ■ Renault ALASKAN Le pick-up par Renault !     GR Yaris: Ukován v žáru světového rallyového šampionátu Když Toyota v roce 2015 ohlásila návrat do světového rallyového šampionátu (WRC), součástí plánu byla i myšlenka postavit sportovní vůz inspirovaný rallyovými speciály. Vizí konstruktérů bylo využít technické poznatky a zkušenosti z mezinárodních soutěží na nejvyšší úrovni a aplikovat je na nový vůz schválený do běžného provozu, vhodný však i k soutěžnímu nasazení a zároveň cenově dostupný. Sportovní vůz vyráběný samotnou Toyotou – první po 20 letech – zároveň zhmotňoval osobní ambice Akia Toyody, prezidenta automobilky Toyota. V souvislosti se ziskem mistrovského titulu WRC 2018 v kategorii továrních týmů byl Akio Toyoda toho názoru, že vítězný vůz je klíčový k dosažení celosvětového uznání. Právě takovým vozem je GR Yaris, navržený a vyráběný zcela od nuly a určený k vítězství na těch nejvyšších úrovních. Jedná se o druhý globální model Toyoty s označením GR, navazující na úspěšné uvedení Toyoty GR Supra v roce 2018. Pokud jde o technické know-how a vznik vozu, o jehož koupi by zákazníci měli zájem, bylo nutné splnit několik základních podmínek. Tým vývojářů od počátku úzce spolupracoval s firmou Tommi Mäkinen Racing s cílem pochopit, jak vytyčených cílů vlastně dosáhnout. Jednalo se o detailní a velmi pracný proces, který však přinesl přesvědčivé výsledky v podobě vozidla, které se chlubí ideálním spojením tuhé a lehké konstrukce, agilního podvozku se skvělou odezvou a výkonného, nicméně kompaktního přeplňovaného motoru. Volantu vyrobených prototypů se chopili profesionální rallyoví jezdci, včetně členů továrního týmu TOYOTA GAZOO Racing WRT (World Rally Team), kteří vývojářům následně poskytli cennou zpětnou vazbu.     June 23, 2017 Toyota Motor Corporation GAZOO Racing Company Rally Poland: Preview TOYOTA GAZOO Racing accelerates onto super-fast Polish stages The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team will take on some of the fastest roads in the FIA World Rally Championship on Rally Poland from June 29 to July 2, when it will look to continue its strong momentum last time out in Sardinia. Now the team faces a brand-new challenge on rapid gravel stages that are very different from those of southern Europe, but with the possibility of more very hot weather. Car 10(Jari-Matti Latvala, Miikka Anttila) Although it is the fourth consecutive round held on gravel, Rally Poland poses a very different challenge to the events held before it, with soft, sandy and flowing stages. The high speeds can be similar to those seen on Rally Finland, so it will provide a good opportunity for the team and three crews to develop the performance of the Yaris WRC in these demanding conditions ahead of the following round. Rally Poland is based at the town of Mikolajki in the north-east of the country, where a super special stage hosts the opening stage on Thursday evening. It features again at the end of both Friday and Saturday’s action, when it follows two loops of four stages. The rally ends on Sunday with two stages ran twice, featuring the new 18.68-kilometre Paprotki test that serves as the event-closing Power Stage. To prepare for next week’s rally, all three drivers took part in a test on gravel in Estonia, using similar roads to those that will be seen in Poland.

Big event for everyone, it’s a brand-new challenge out there. What can you say from what you’ve seen of the roads out there on the recce? KR: The rally is new for everybody and it’s nice to be starting first car on the road on a Tarmac event. But it looks like the conditions are going to be really tricky on the stages. The stages are mainly quite technical and fast all the time. The condition is quite good in some places but then some places when it was raining before the recce there was a lot of mud and dirt on the road so it won’t be so easy. Q: Is it like a gravel rally in parts or is it not that bad? KR: Some parts on Friday look like it’s not going to help us so much to be the first car. The team already enjoyed a great start to the year with a double podium on last month’s Rallye Monte-Carlo and now moves on to the scene of the Toyota Yaris WRC’s maiden victory last year in the hands of Jari-Matti Latvala, with the clear aim of repeating that success. Car 8(Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja) A founding round of the world championship in 1973, Rally Sweden is the only full winter rally on the calendar. Metal studs inserted into the tyres punch through the ice to find grip, while drivers use the snow banks to stay on the road by ‘leaning’ through the corners: provided there is enough snow to do it. Full winter conditions are expected this year. A superspecial kicks off the action in Karlstad in Thursday night before much of Friday’s action takes place over the border in Norway. Saturday features classic Swedish stage names such as Hagfors and Vargasen, followed by a repeat of the Karlstad and a ‘sprint’ near the service park in Torsby. It’s there where the rally will end with the Power Stage on Sunday, after two runs of the Likenas test.     January 15, 2020 Toyota Motor Corporation GAZOO Racing Company New-look Toyota Yaris WRC ready to fight for more titles in 2021 The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team has unveiled a new look for the Toyota Yaris WRC as it prepares to add to the car’s haul of FIA World Rally Championship success during the 2021 season. Yaris WRC 2021 The new livery is similar to that worn by the new GR010 HYBRID for the FIA World Endurance Championship – with a design on the GR lettering indicating the strong connection between Toyota’s competition cars and road cars such as the GR Yaris, which has been developed using the knowledge gained by the team in the WRC. Underneath this new appearance, the team will continue with the proven package of the Toyota Yaris WRC for a fifth consecutive season – the last before new technical regulations are introduced to the championship in 2022. So far, the car has achieved 17 victories in the WRC (winning over one-third of the events it has taken part in) and 322 stage wins. After the manufacturers’ title of 2018, it has been taken to back-to-back drivers’ and co-drivers’ crowns in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, the team’s aim is to secure the full set of championship titles. The team continues to work to optimise the Yaris WRC, with further developments set to be introduced during 2021. The car is also now fitted with Pirelli tyres as the Italian company becomes the sole tyre supplier for the WRC’s top categories from this season.
