On their website, the RM of St. Clements said that there is a planned power interruption that will take place Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. The area affected by the power outage will stretch from Beaconia Beach north to Belair, including Grand Marais. The RM said the planned interruption is required to allow staff to safely com- plete required maintenance. Nova House Inc. executive director Anna Pazdzierski said they hope to host the grand opening of the their new 24-bed facility located along Clandeboye Avenue in Selkirk before Jan. 15, 2017 and will then welcome RECORD PHOTOS BY LINDSEY ENNS clients shortly afterwards. They continue to fundraise for funds for the build- ing as well as for things that will fi ll the shelter, such as furnishings and housewares. Pazdzierski said fundraising for the new facility has been steady and they are currently about $250,000 away from reaching their $1.1 million goal.
