FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Comedic Handyman Red Green heads to Weinberg Center in Potential Final Tour

FREDERICK, MD, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 — Red Green will bring his show This Could Be It! to the Weinberg Center for the Arts on Friday March 29th at 8:00 p.m. After 20 successful years on , Red Green is back on tour, focusing on life as only Red would see it.

“” premiered in 1991, launching a unique cross between and sketch that kept audiences laughing with exactly three hundred episodes throughout fifteen seasons. Prior to “The Red Green Show,” (Red Green) produced, wrote, and starred in “Smith & Smith” alongside his wife, Morag Smith. Further TV success followed, including family sitcom “Me & Max” and series “The Comedy Mill.” Smith’s writing credits also include “Offside,” Laughing Matters,” “Out of Our Minds,” and “Top Cops.”

Born in , Smith earned an engineering degree from the and holds an honorary Doctorate from McMaster University. On February 17, 2006, Smith was made a Member of the Order of Canada.
