Last Week: W 38-20 vs. Georgia • Florida defeated Georgia 38-20 last week in Jacksonville, Fla., while Vanderbilt topped Old Dominion 42-28 in Nashville. VANDERBILT • UF had 418 rushing yards against the Bulldogs, marking the fifth-best single-game total in school annals, and the Record: 3-6, 0-5 SEC second-best performance against an SEC opponent (454 vs. Vanderbilt, 1975). Head Coach: Derek Mason, 1st season • UGA entered the game allowing just three runs of 20-plus yards on the season (tied the national lead), and its longest Record: 3-6 (.333) - career and VU opponent rush was for just 24 yards. UF had five runs of 20-plus yards, including a 65 yarder. Rankings: Not ranked • The Orange and Blue ran 60 times last week, which is the team’s fourth-highest carries total in a game, and second- Last Week: W 42-28 vs. Old Dominion highest against an SEC opponent (67 vs. Ole Miss, 1980). • The Gators rushed for five touchdowns against UGA, marking their first five-TD game on the ground since scoring six rushing touchdowns against Appalachian State on Nov. 20, 2010. o The last time UF scored five rushing touchdowns against an SEC opponent was Sept. 25, 2010, against Kentucky. More importantly, it was his first victory over Georgia, his Home: 2-2 *SEC Games: 3-3 Neutral: 1-0 alma mater and a team that started the day not only in command of the SEC East, but very much in play for a spot in the Away: 1-1 Non-Conference: 1-0 inaugural College Football Playoff. Taylor rushed 25 times for a career-high 197 yards and two touchdowns -- including an electrifying 65-yard run late in the fourth quarter -- while Jones matched those 25 attempts with a career-best 192 yards and two scores, including a 44-yarder on the first possession of the second half to open a 24-7 advantage.
