Let’s hope that he is happier about his new live action/ CGI hybrid The Jungle Book, which opens in cinemas this month. Murray voices the character of the much-loved Baloo the bear who, together with Bagheera the black panther (Ben Kingsley), tries to keep young Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi) safe from nasty Kaa the python (Scarlett Johansson) and King Louie the orangutan (Christopher Walken). • Star Wars: the Force Awakens Heroine Rey Debuts As Newest Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds London
STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS HEROINE REY DEBUTS AS NEWEST WAX FIGURE AT MADAME TUSSAUDS LONDON Tuesday August 9, 2016. Hot on the heels of her Teen Choice Award for Movie Breakout Star as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Daisy Ridley today received another much coveted accolade as her character joined a cast of heroes and villains in the epic Star Wars experience at Madame Tussauds London. Ridley’s character, Rey, is the eighteenth to be portrayed in the hugely popular attraction and stands proudly holding her staff, dressed in an exact replica of the tattered scavenger’s clothing she wears in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Her figure resides in a set depicting the trader’s tent in the lawless frontier desert world of Jakku and is featured alongside the skittish but loyal astromech droid, BB-8. Guests can step right into the recreated scene and summon up their inner rebels alongside the daring duo. "Since the Star Wars experience opened last May it has proved a massive hit with our guests," commented Edward Fuller, General Manager of Madame Tussauds London. He continued: "The intention was always to add new characters and scenes as the Star Wars story continues to evolve and we are delighted to welcome heroine, Rey, to the experience in the twelfth immersive set. The scenes we feature recreate some of the most powerful moments from the Star Wars universe and guests will recognise the trader’s tent on Jakku with its desert worn features." Rey's figure took a talented team of twenty artists four months to make.

Controversy Films was an official participant at The American Film Market in Los Angeles this month. With almost 8,000 attendees and 800 buyers, AFM is the biggest film market in the United States. We met with distributors, producers, industry insiders, actors, writers, and many friends. NOTHING IS TRUER THAN TRUTH sparked interest from several new collaborators and potential partners. On Friday afternoon, former Women in Film New York president and entertainment attorney Laverne Berry and I shared stories poolside with writer Sam Joseph and producer Byron Martin. Saturday included lunch with Controversy Films mentor and film critic James Ulmer, IMDB hero Matt Syrette and the newest member of the Ulmer Scale crew Ethan. After pitching to international distributors at the market, I went over to the AFI Film Festival in Hollywood to meet Controversy Films festival guru Vicki Oleskey and catch the premiere screening of THE PAST, from Iranian 2 of 10 12/13/13 4:34 PM SHAKESPEARE NEWS https://ui.constantcontact.com/visualeditor/visual_editor_previe... director Asghar Farhadi, whose previous film A SEPARATION won the 2012 Academy Award for best foreign language film.
