Spot the giant! Game of Thrones® mythical characters appear in Ulster Museum painting ~ 8th ‘Door of Thrones’ unveiled in Tourism Ireland’s Game of Thrones® campaign ~

The latest element of Tourism Ireland’s 2016 Game of Thrones® campaign has been revealed. And, this time it involves a painting in the Ulster Museum, re-imagined to include mythical characters associated with the hit TV series. The ‘re-created’ painting goes on display in the Ulster Museum today, alongside the original – ‘Landscape with Sheep’ by William Mark Fisher – and will remain there until September.

Tourism Ireland has also unveiled its 8th ‘Door of Thrones’ today, to coincide with episode 8 of season 6. It hangs in Mary McBrides Bar, Cushendun, near the filming location of the Cushendun Caves. It carries greetings common in Braavos, ‘’ (‘all men must die’) and ‘’ (‘all men must serve’).

And, the eighth limited edition Game of Thrones® stamp, produced in conjunction with the Royal Mail, has also been unveiled.
