The Gathering of Goblins is a celebration of another IET Formula Goblin Season, where teams from far and wide travel to Goodwood to compete against each other, at the largest IET Formula Goblin event of the year. This year we are extremely pleased to welcome two Goblin teams from China, and a team from Spain to the Gathering of Goblins. 2017 saw rapid growth of the IET Formula Goblin project in particular areas, due to the hard work of our ambassadors, meaning that we were able to add two fantastic additional events to the calendar this year at Scottow Enterprise Park (Norfolk) and Croft Motor Circuit (North Yorkshire). As a charity, Greenpower relies on significant support from many hundreds of volunteers, organisations and supporters who contribute unbelievable amounts of their time and resources. This is all because we share the same vision of inspiring our young participants about engineering subjects and sustainability. We are extremely grateful to our main supporters, Siemens, The IET, Silverline and BMW i along with many other organisations for the support they provide to us as an organisation, which allows us to run a full 35 event race calendar over our three different categories. Good luck to all of the teams that will be participating at the 2017 Gathering of Goblins; we’re looking forward to seeing you at Goodwood!
