REPORT 2003 Review of 2003 Highlights No. 49 among world universities In 2003, the ANU was ranked equal 49th among world universities – the only university in the Southern Hemisphere to make the top 50, and one of only two Australian universities to make the top 100. This was a signifi cant accolade for the University and the nation. Growth The University experienced another year of steady growth, with revenues from all sources of just over $567 million in 2003, up from $473 million in the previous year.
