‘Competition’ tournaments should feature your strongest team/regular club attendees as most of these will lead to qualification for County events.

‘Friendly’ tournaments should feature as much as possible those children that may have taken part in clubs at school but have not been chosen for the competitions in that sport. Where there are only ‘friendly’ fixtures for a particular sport, please mix and rotate the children you bring as much as possible. We will not be collecting scores for these events.

“CAN DO” events are for pupils who have not, or very rarely, attended clubs (in or outside of school) or represented their schools before with the aim to encourage more children to become more active. We will not be collecting scores for these events.

For ‘Friendly’ and ‘Can-Do’ events, we recommend that all squad members take part in every game and they are rotated so all participants have equal playing time.
