Foreword It is a great pleasure to write the foreword for the Victorian Perinatal Services Performance Indicators report for 2016–17. The Perinatal Safety and Quality Committee (PSQC), sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services and Safer Care Victoria, have invested a significant effort examining this data. We have provided consumer summaries for each indicator so that the information is accessible to everyone in Victoria for whom performance in this sector is important.
