STATE ENERGY CONSERVATION AWARDS 2015

Kerala State Energy Conservation Awards 2015 is conferred as an appreciation for noble and concerted effort towards energy conservation in the State of Kerala. The State Level Monitoring Committee for Energy Conservation in Kerala, on evaluating the various entries for State level awards selected the following for conferring Awards and Commendation Certificates.

In Large Scale Energy Consumers category Travancore – Cochin Chemicals, won the award. In Medium Scale Energy Consumers category HLL Life Care, Akkulam Factory won the award. In Institutions / Organisations category Kerala State Electricity Board Limited, Thiruvananthapuram and Kerala Prisons and Correctional Services Department won the award. Shri. K.C.Baiju of Cherthala won the award for individual efforts. In Buildings category Vasundhara Sarovar Premier ( Resort), Vayalar won the award.

In Large Scale Energy Consumers category Corporation Limited, Kochi Refinery and Cochin Limited, Kochi received commendation certificate. In Small Scale Energy Consumers category Printing and Publishing Company Limited, Thiruvananthapuram received the commendation certificate . In category of Buildings Cochin International Airport, Kochi received commendation certificate. In Individual category Shri.K.P.Mohanan, Thrissur and Dr.B.G.Sreedevi, Thiruvananthapuram received the commendation certificate.

This year 56 Applicants where there in different categories and total savings by the award applicants were 77MU of electricity, 9610 Ton of oil and 209 Ton of LPG.

Awards will be distributed by Hon’ble Minister Shri.Aryadan Muhammed on

14th December 2015 at Thiruvananthapuram.
