PREVIOUSLY The IceHogs return home from two games in Grand Rapids last weekend, where they swept the Griffins with two over- ON THE POND time wins at Van Andel Arena. Iowa and Rockford clashed back on Mar. 6 and Mar. 7 at BMO Harris Bank Center, with the IceHogs winning both games, 3-2 and 4-3 (OT). • Forward Gerry Mayhew scored his first AHL goal of the season on Mar. 14 after being reassigned from MN Taxi Squad. FORWARD • Mayhew’s Mar. 14 goal was his 89th career AHL goal, all the Iowa, and stands as the most in franchise history. FACTS • Forward Connor Dewar was recalled to Mar. 16 to the MN Taxi Squad, marking the first NHL recall of his career. • Forward Gabriel Dumont leads all Wild skaters in scoring against the IceHogs this season (2G-1A-3PTS). • Forward Dylan McLaughlin tallied both game-winning goals in OT last weekend in Grand Rapids. WINDS OF • Goaltender Matt Tomkins made a career-high 46 saves in Rockford’s Mar. 16 win over Grand Rapids.
