A delegate speaking to a resolution or an amendment may not exceed three minutes.

The proposer of a resolution or an amendment may speak a second time for three minutes before a vote is taken. No other delegate may speak a second time to the same resolution or amendment.

An Cathaoirleach may, at any time she/he considers a matter has been sufficiently discussed, call on the proposer for a reply. When that has been given, a vote must be taken.

Myshall won the Senior Championship and went on to represent Carlow in the Leinster Intermediate Club Championship while Naomh Brid won the Junior Championship and represented Carlow in the Leinster Junior Club Championship. Congratulations also to Muinebheag on winning the All Ireland Regional Féile na nGael and to Setanta on winning the Cross Border Development Tournament. Parnells GAA Over the last number of years we have built up a fantastic relationship with Parnells GAA, Coolock. The children’s officer role this year was busier than most people realised, with Áine having a very busy schedule of meetings to address issues that arose at a wider county level. Her work alongside children’s officers of the GAA and LGFA boards is vital in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our youth members. The drive for all clubs to be compliant with the new Safeguarding laws and GDPR regulations added extra work to club and county children’s officers this year and thanks to all the children’s officers for their efforts in this regard.

The biggest day of the camogie calendar in any county is the senior championship final and in 2018, this was a major triumph in Louth. The game was one of the most hotly contested in recent years and a huge well done must go to the players, management and supporters of St. Brides and St. Kevins for the big effort they put in both on and off the pitch to ensure the final was a major success. The board really appreciates the work all clubs put in to assisting with programme production, providing umpires and lines people on the day and publicising the game to achieve the record attendance that we saw at St. Mary’s, Ardee on the 15th September. Congratulations to victors St Kevins who went on to represent Louth in the Leinster Junior club competition and to St. Brides on a great year of camogie.

As always, there were challenges in 2018.

The issues that arose surrounding the re-fixture of the Under 16 final were very difficult to resolve. I left no stone unturned in trying to resolve the issues so that the

I would like to sincerely thank all those within the clubs, counties and province, including the Leinster Executive for their help in the successful running of various projects over the year. There has been huge growth in the province over the past year between new clubs, emerging schools and additional inter-county age grades.The growth in numbers of our qualified coaches is also something that can only be a positive thing in giving our players knowledgeable and informed coaches in each of the clubs around the province. Special thanks and well done to all the county development officers and secretaries for their support and help in implementing and promoting development in their counties.
