The Jockey Club CPS Limited Advisory Committee

Chairman The Hon Bernard Charnwut CHAN, GBS, JP The Hon CHAN is a deputy to the National People's Congress of China and a non-official member of 's Executive Council. He is also a former member of Hong Kong's Legislative Council (1998–2008). A graduate of Pomona College in California, he is the President of Asia Financial Group and Asia Insurance. He is Chairman of the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food, Chairman of the Steering Committee on Restored Landfill Revitalisation Funding Scheme, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and Member of Aviation Development & Three-runway System Advisory Committee. He is also Chairman of the Hong Kong - Thailand Business Council and an advisor to Bangkok Bank (China) Co. Ltd. The Hon CHAN is chairing the Art Working Group of the Central Police Station Revitalisation Project.

Members Dr. LEE, Ho-yin Dr. LEE is the Head of the Division of Architectural Conservation Programmes (ACP) in the Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong. Besides being a well-published academic, he is also an experienced practitioner in built-heritage conservation, having been appointed by government agencies in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and overseas as an advisor or a consultant in conservation projects. He is the Founding Vice-President of The Hong Kong Institute of Architectural Conservationists, an Associate Member of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects, and an Honorary Affiliate Member of the American Institute of Architects (Hong Kong Chapter). Dr. LEE is chairing the Heritage Working Group of the Central Police Station Revitalisation Project.

Prof Eva MAN, Kit-wah Received her doctorate degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Prof MAN is the Executive Associate Dean of Graduate School and Professor of Department of Humanities and Creative Writing of the Hong Kong Baptist University. Prof MAN is Member of Leisure and Cultural Services Department's Art Museum Advisory Panel, Expert Adviser of the Arts Capacity Development Funding Scheme under Home Affairs Bureau, Advisor for the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's Arts Education Group and Associate Chair of the City Contemporary Dance Company. Prof MAN is a member of the Art Working Group of the Central Police Station Revitalisation Project.

Ms. CHENG Lai-king Ms. CHENG, a Member of the Central and Western District Council, has been following heritage conservation in the community for many years. She is the Chairperson of the District Facilities Management Committee and the Chairperson of the Working Group on Concern over the Development of the Central Police Station Compound and Former Police Married Quarters under the District Council. Ms. CHENG is a social worker.

Ms. Kathy SIU, Ka-yi Ms. SIU is a full-time District Councillor of the Central and Western District and has a strong interest in conservation and development in the community. She is the Chairperson of the Food, Environment, Hygiene & Works Committee and a Member of the Working Group on Concern over the Development of the Central Police Station Compound and Former Police Married Quarters under the Central and Western District Council.

Mr. Dick LEE, Ming-kwai, GBS Mr. LEE retired from the office of Commissioner of Police in 2007 after 34 years of distinguished service, including several years at the former Central Police Station. Mr. LEE was awarded the Medal in 2007 for his outstanding public service. He is now Executive Director for the Hong Kong Institute for Public Administration. Mr. LEE is a member of the Heritage Working Group of the Central Police Station Revitalisation Project.

Dr. Rosanna WONG, Yick-ming, DBE, JP Dr. WONG is the Executive Director of The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Group. She is a Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. Currently, she is the Non-executive Chairman of The Hongkong Bank Foundation’s Advisory Committee and sits on the Board of several public listed companies. She was active in public service, and was a former Member of both the Executive and Legislative Councils. Dr. WONG holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, U.S.A. and has been awarded Honorary Doctorates by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Institute of Education and University of Toronto in Canada.

Mr. Benjamin CHA, Yiu-chung Mr. CHA is currently the Chief Executive of Grosvenor Asia Pacific. Serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Asia Art Archive and previously serving on the Tate Asia-Pacific Acquisitions Committee, Mr. CHA has developed close ties with the local and overseas art communities. Mr. CHA has a Master Degree in Business Administration from Stanford University and a Bachelor Degree of Arts in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College, USA. He is currently a member of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. Mr. CHA is a director of the Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited. He is also a member of the Art Working Group of the Central Police Station Revitalisation Project.

Mr. Weber LO, Wai-pak Mr. LO is currently the Country Officer and Chief Executive Officer, Hong Kong and Macau of Citibank, N.A. In addition to serving at the Banking Advisory Committee and the Joint Committee on Student Finance of the Government, Mr. LO concerns about the heritage conservation through his serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Lord Wilson Heritage Trust since 2011. Mr. LO holds a degree in Social Sciences from The University of Hong Kong.
