5. Additional conditions under which authorization is granted.

1. Term of validity of the authorization: • For applicants that are not from CEPT countries the authorization is valid for a period of 3 months. • For applicants that are from CEPT countries the authorization is valid for a period longer than 3 months. • For applicants that are applying for the authorization for special events the authorization is valid for the duration of the event. 2. The applicant must be over 15 years of age. 3. The maximum power input for the bands is in accordance with the National Decree for Radio-amateurs, (P.B. 1999, no. 209). 4. The following tables contain the amateur bands applicable to Curaçao.

Take into account that the current A, B and C category authorizations in Curaçao are equivalent to the (“Full”) F category authorizations according to CEPT standards.

The authorization is granted if any of the bands mentioned in the tables on page 6, 7 and 8 apply.

5. The licensee should at all times allow inspection of his equipment by the inspector of Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post and closely follow all instructions given to him.

Please note: In accordance with the CEPT Recommendation T/R 61-01 concerning amateur radio licenses, amateurs from CEPT countries that will stay for a period no longer than 3 months in Curaçao do not need to apply for authorization. The prefix to be used by the radio amateurs from CEPT counties is: PJ2. The prefix should also be followed by a slash (/) and the call sign of the country of origin of the amateur.

For radio amateurs that do not come from a CEPT country reciprocal authorization is required.

SECTION 6: STATEMENT OF APPROVAL

The undersigned requests authorization to operate an amateur radio in Curaçao and agrees that if authorization is granted his/her operations will be in accordance with:

• The rules of the Geneva Radio Regulations governing amateur radio operation. • The terms and conditions of the amateur radio license issued to him by his government. • The terms and conditions of the bilateral agreement on this subject between his/her government and the government of Curaçao. • Any further conditions attached to the authorization by the government of Curaçao.

I further understand that any authorization issued to me may be summarily modified, sus- pended or cancelled without advanced notice.
