STORYLINE: The Super Bowl winner was once again the team that ran the ball the best and threw it the least. Oakland did that. The Raiders ran 52 times for 266 yards led by 137 yards on 16 carries from and 73 yards on 18 carries by . only threw 19 times with 12 completions for 163 yards. The Oakland defense meanwhile, held the Vikes to 71 yards on 28 rush- es and picked off two passes, one returned for a TD. Willie Brown’s return for a TD is one of the most inconic in Super Bowl history. Viking QB was 17 of 35 for 205 yards. Viking was limited to 44 yards on 17 carries.
