Dr. Antonis Papadourakis President and CEO, LANXESS Corporation

6 Antonis was born in Athens, Greece in 1957. He earned a degree from the University of Thessaloniki in 1981 and a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1985, both in Chemical Engineering.

After a year with the Greek Armed Forces, he joined Rohm and Haas in Bristol, PA, USA. He held positions of increasing responsibility, including Sr. Chemical Engineer, Group Leader of the Process Economics Center and Process Control Manager for Polymers & Resins worldwide. Antonis became a US citizen in May of 1995.

In 1997 Antonis moved to London, England as the Purchasing Manager for Rohm and Haas (UK) Ltd. and later became the Purchasing & Logistics Manager, Europe, for Performance Polymers. He became Commercial Manager for Construction Adhesives, Europe, in January of 2001.

Antonis moved to Paris, France in July 2001, to become Business Manager, Packaging and Converting, Europe for Rohm and Haas.

He repatriated to the US in 2005 and joined Engelhard Corporation (now BASF) as Global Business Manager for Stationary Source and Indoor Air. He joined Arkema in February of 2007 as Business Director, Organic Peroxides, Americas. In September of 2008, he was promoted to General Manager, Sustainability Additives and in February 2012 joined Altuglas International (a subsidiary of Arkema) as the Regional Group President, Americas.

Antonis joined LANXESS Corporation as its President and CEO in July, 2015. On April 1st, 2016, Antonis added the role of President and CEO of ARLANXEO USA LLC to his responsibilities.

Antonis is married and has three children.

Bill Flanagan Chief Corporate Relations Officer, Allegheny Conference on Community Development

Bill Flanagan serves as Chief Corporate Relations Officer for the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and its affiliated regional development organizations: The Economy League of Greater Pittsburgh LLC, the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance and the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce. In this role, Bill guides the development of regional and organizational messaging strategy and supervises Investor Relations activities, including membership development and programming, as well as fundraising. An experienced broadcast journalist, Bill has told the story of the transformation of the economy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for more than 30-years. He serves as host and producer of “Our Region’s Business,” a weekly business public affairs program on WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh, PA, the Pittsburgh Cable News Channel (PCNC), and YouTube. As President of The Pittsburgh G-20 Partnership in 2009, Bill helped to organize the public/private partnership of organizations from across southwestern Pennsylvania that came together to welcome the world for the Pittsburgh Summit. As Executive Director of Pittsburgh 250, the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the naming of Pittsburgh in 2008, Bill supervised a multi-year, 14-county initiative. Bill came to work in southwestern Pennsylvania in 1982 as a reporter for KDKA-TV. He served as the station’s Money Editor for 13 years and has written about personal finance for The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and KDKA-AM. Bill serves on the boards of Leadership Pittsburgh, Inc. and Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area. A graduate of Northwestern University (B.S. Speech), Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a native of Dover, Delaware.

Todd Dina Director Global Olefins, IHS Markit

Todd joined IHS Markit Chemical in 2016 as Director Global Olefins responsible as the global lead on Propylene Studies as well as the service leader for the North America Light Olefins Market Advisory Service. He focuses primarily on olefins and the analysis of the propylene and propylene derivatives markets for IHS Markit clients. He also manages the global propylene market intelligence studies for the company and contributes regular commentary on these markets for other IHS Markit Chemicals reports. In addition, Todd contributes propylene analysis to the World Propylene Analysis, an annual study also published by IHS Markit. Todd graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.

John Dietrich Senior Editor, ICIS

John Dietrich is a senior editor for ICIS and has been with the company for seven years. John covers the US phenol/acetone and derivatives market and has also covered the US olefins market and has worked with the ICIS base oils team. He has spoken on the phenol/ acetone market at several conferences in Europe and Asia. John is a product of the University of Missouri’s journalism program and was a Dow Jones Newspaper Fund intern.

Martha Moore Senior Director, American Chemistry Council

Martha Gilchrist Moore is senior director for policy analysis and economics at the American Chemistry Council. In that role, she analyzes the impact of various policy initiatives and energy trends on the chemical industry, in particular recent developments in shale gas. She also directs the Council’s research on the direct and indirect economic contributions of the business of chemistry and the benefits to consumers. Ms. Moore has worked on chemical industry issues for more than 20 years and is an authority on the market dynamics for the chemical industry and its end-use customer industries. Ms. Moore holds a master’s degree in economics from Indiana University and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the National Association for Business Economics and the US Association for Energy Economics.

Julianne Heins Supply Chain Director, Seneca Resources Co.

Julianne Heins leads the Supply Chain function for Seneca Resources Corporation, the oil and natural gas exploration and production segment of National Fuel Gas Company. Seneca’s Supply Chain Group is responsible for the Company’s sourcing activities as well as for inventory, warehousing and fleet management. Ms. Heins currently serves on the board of ISM-Pittsburgh as the Director of Scholarships. She is a current member of the Supply Chain and the Natural Gas Use Committees of the Marcellus Shale Coalition. Ms. Heins has also served two terms on the board of the Women’s Energy Network Board as Secretary. In 2015, Ms. Heins was honored with the Pittsburgh Business Times Women in Energy Leadership Award.

10 James Baehr Lead for Sourcing Strategies Group LLC

Jim Baehr is the Lead for the Sourcing Strategies Group LLC (SSG) supporting the Supply Management needs of clients in both the Public and Private sectors. Prior to founding SSG, he was an independent advisor for several years. His most recent corporate roles were as Vice President of Global Information Technology Procurement for Reed Elsevier, and Director of Technical & Services Procurement for Bayer Corporation. Currently, Jim is the Past President of the ISM – Pittsburgh Affiliate; a member of the Board of Governors of the Joint Chemical Group of Pittsburgh; and a member of the Visionary Council of Coupa Software Incorporated based in San Mateo, CA.

Jordan Hesterman Principal, A.T. Kearney

Jordan Hesterman is a Principal in A.T. Kearney’s Houston office with client work focused in the energy and process industries sectors. His work is primarily focused on operations, supply chain and strategy with specific client topics including pre-M&A growth strategy development, operations, procurement and supply chain improvement, risk management, innovation and new product development, and complexity reduction. Jordan joined A.T. Kearney in the New York Office in 2010.

Franco Harris Former Steelers Running Back

Franco Harris began his pro football career as the ’ No.1 pick and the 13th player selected in the 1972 NFL Draft. For 12 seasons, the 6-2, 230-pounder from Penn State was a big- yardage running back, a key man in the powerful Pittsburgh offensive machine, which also included an outstanding passing attack. Harris established himself as a future superstar when he became only the fourth rookie in NFL annals to rush for 1,000 yards. He gained additional attention by being on the receiving end of the famous “” pass from that gave the Steelers their first-ever playoff win, a 13-7 victory over the Oakland Raiders. In his 13 seasons, Harris rushed 2,949 times for 12,120 yards and 91 .

Phil Villapiano Former Raiders Linebacker/WIN

Phil Villapiano was AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1971, All-NFL in 1975 and 1976, and All-AFC from 1972-1976. Phil also played in four Pro Bowls and was a member of the Oakland Raiders XI winning team. One of the fastest linebackers of his era, Phil specialized in making big plays - none bigger than his momentum changing goal-line tackle against the Vikings in Super Bowl XI, where he forced that was recovered by Willie Hall. Phil has been in the International Logistics business for more than thirty years, starting during off seasons while playing with the Raiders. Currently, Phil provides logistics solutions for domestic and international companies as Vice President of Sales for Odyssey Logistics & Technology, a global logistics leader, based in Danbury, Connecticut.

Joint Chemical Group President Rob is the National Sales Manager for Ranbar Electrical Materials. Ranbar is an alkyd resin manufacturer located in Harrison City, PA. Ranbar specializes in developing unique resin solutions for our commercial partners. We are the best specialty chemical manufacturer in the USA! Rob is currently the President of the Joint Chemical Group. The JCG is the governing body of Pittsburgh Chemical Day. Rob was the Gereral Chair of PCD in 1999. He is a Past President of the Chemical Association of Pittsburgh in 1996, 2013 and 2014. Rob has also headed up the Chemical Association of Pittsburgh’s Scholarship Fund since 1992.

Leah Singerling Food Industry Specialist, Brenntag

General Chair Leah is the Food Industry Specialist in the greater Pittsburgh, , and Buffalo areas for Brenntag Northeast, Inc. Brenntag Northeast is the world’s largest full line chemical distributor. She has been involved with Pittsburgh Chemical Day for several years, serving on the Sponsorship and Arrangements committees. Leah has also served as the President of the Chemical Association of Pittsburgh in 2015 and 2016.

Arrangements David has worked for W.K. Merriman for 13 years, focusing on their Industrial Waste Water Treatment applications that target Water Treatment facilities, Steel production, Chemical plants, the Food Industry, and Mining Operations while also shifting to Energy in 2006 and helping grow their new subsidiary, WKM LLC established in 2013. After serving as the Promotions Committee Chair in 2015 and 2016, he will be helping with this year’s event by Chairing the Arrangements Committee.

Promotions Justin Jamison is a Sales Representative with Wolf Container & Chemical. Previously, he has had roles in Supply Chain with U.S. Steel and Johnson & Johnson, as well as in Consulting with Accenture. He now sells performance minerals and a wide array of packaging at Wolf. He has accepted the role of Chair on the Promotions Committee, continuing a long tradition of close partnership between Wolf and Pittsburgh Chemical Day. He follows in the footsteps of Linda Wolf, Patty Wolf, and Leonard Wolf in helping continue this wonderful tradition.

Ads & Sponsorships Jim is currently Procurement Manager for PVS Technologies working closely with the steel industry to source raw materials for ferric chloride production. Jim has been in the chemical industry for over 30 years, mainly in sales and sales management roles. Jim was a Vice Chair of the Ads & Sponsorship Committee for the past two years. He is also a past president of the Cleveland Chemical Association. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the US Air Force Academy and spent six years on active duty in the USAF. Day Program Andy has been in the coating, adhesive, plastic, ink and related industries for over 25 years. A graduate of Oakland University with Polymer and Coating program certificates from Eastern Michigan University and the University of Detroit. He has been active in the manufacturing of resins, end formula creation and production, and distribution sales and management. Currently managing 6 sales people over parts of 9 states. Actively involved in multiple Society for Coatings Technology chapters and the Pittsburgh Chemical Association. He has traveled with his family to 49 of the states and continues to enjoy cheering on his teenage girls as they compete in sand volleyball tournaments.

Keynote & VIP Heather Rayburg-Smith is an Account Manager for the BASF Corporation. Her focus is on growth of the acrylic monomer, oxo-alcohol, and plasticizer portfolios through the direct channel to market. Heather is the currently the Vice President of the Joint Chemical Group of Pittsburgh, a volunteer on the Pittsburgh Chemical Day planning committee (2003-present; General Chair 2011), a member of the Chemical Association of Pittsburgh, and a member of the NACD. Heather holds a BS in Biology/Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. A Pittsburgh native, she resides in Leechburg, PA with her husband Chad and their daughter Logan.
