2.5. Diagnostic Notes **Adult**

Yellowish brown, abdomen, pronotum, and head darker.

**Male**

Body length 9-14 mm; forceps 3.5-9 mm. Head broad; pronotum transverse, posterior margin convex; elytra and wings always well developed. Forceps variable in size but always broad at base, each branch strongly dentated at base, this part ending in a distal tooth; distal part of forceps slender and curved. Pygidium hidden.

**Female**

As in male, except for pygidium and forceps. Pygidium subquadrate, waisted, caudal margin truncate. Forceps smaller, more delicate, slightly curved, apices acute, slightly hooked; minutely roughened on inner margins. Body length 10-14 mm, forceps 2.8-5 mm.
