TODAY, I DECLARE TO THE ENTIRE COUNTRY AND TO ALL MALAYSIANS FROM PERLIS IN THE NORTH TO JOHOREANS IN THE SOUTH, FROM THE URBAN KUALA LUMPUR TO THE RURAL PEACE OF TERENGGANU, FROM ACROSS THE SEAS TO OUR BRETHREN FROM KUCHING TO KOTA KINABALU YEARNING FOR A BETTER DEAL, THAT:
POLITICAL INTEGRITY, THE HEALTH OF OUR NATION IS A HUMAN RIGHT;
TO LIVE IN PEACE AND HARMONY, IN EQUALITY AND JUSTICE IS A HUMAN RIGHT; AND
PROVIDING A CURE FOR POLITICAL IGNORANCE, CONSCIENTIOUS STUPIDITY, BIGOTRY, RACIALISM AND RELIGIOUS FANATICISM BY NATIONAL UNITY, EMPATHY AND COMPASSION FOR ONE AND ALL IS A HUMAN RIGHT.
Human Rights out of context is meaningless, a myth and pure rhetoric!
Human Rights within the abovementioned contexts bring into sharp focus the political cancer that has ravaged our country and what is NEEDED TO cure the dreaded disease.
And there are no short cuts.
Political reality compels all of us to recognise that the Malay community, presently dominated by the political entity, UMNO is in a state of terminal cancer. The tumour that has been identified as the cause of this terminal state is the “Najib Regime Tumour”!
It is a vicious tumour.
This malignant tumour has replicated itself ferociously and has now spread to the entire body politic. The death knell has been sounded and it is a matter of time when funeral rites would have to be administered.
But, unfortunately the “Malay Leadership” of the entire Malay community has yet to recognise this inevitable end game as evident in the juvenile and bigoted statements of the uncouth mouths from the ranks of those “Loyal But Not Smart” such as Zahid Hamidi, Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Ahmad Rahman Dahlan, Azalina Othman Said, Shahrir Abdul Samad, Ahmad Maslan et al, who have diagnosed the malignant tumour as “Malay / Muslim Disunity” while others conjured a hybrid malignancy, “Loss of Malay Dignity” whatever that means.
Hence, their cure is one of rallying the Malay masses to march in the streets of Kuala Lumpur on the 16th September, 2015 to demonstrate their racial and political virility. The justification for this hocus pocus cure, rests on the false premise (fostered by the desperados within the propaganda unit of the Prime Minister’s Department) that such a rally is necessary to counter Bersih 4 and other political adversities.
The “Loyal But Not Smart” leaders as personified in the UMNO Supreme Council and the Cabinet refused to accept that the malignant tumour that is causing havoc and utter desperation is the “Najib Regime Tumour”.
The political doctors from within and outside of UMNO agreed that the immediate step to be taken was:
The removal of the entire Najib Regime Tumour by a surgical strike!
If truth be told, this would have been feasible in December, 2014 when the vicious tumour has yet to replicate to the extent that we are witnessing today.
But, the UMNO patient unfortunately refused to accept the drastic procedure and opted for traditional cures – a combination of local “magical cocktails” of exotic charms and talismans, followed by more potent concoctions from India and Indonesia. And the ultimate cure – RM! But, to no avail.
Whatever remaining healthy cells in UMNO reeled in horror as the so-called “magical cures” were not even within accepted Islamic healing protocols! Trauma set in and the remaining “fighting cells” were weakened further.
The Doctor in the House took the bull by the horns and declared,
Since the Najib Regime Tumour has now replicated variously into the Zahid Hamidi Tumour, the Ahmad Rahman Dahlan Tumour, the Ismail Sabri Yaakob Tumour, the Azalina Othman Said Tumour, the Shahrir Abdul Samad Tumour and other lesser tumours, the only recourse is to use new technologies and scientific break-throughs to address the issue.
We must be prepared to have multiple organ transplants so as to reconstitute a new and viable body. There is a precedent in 1987 when the science was still at its infancy. UMNO was declared dead but was reconstituted as “UMNO Baru” and over time, “UMNO Baru” evolved into and resumed its former self, but better in all aspects.
The visit by Tun Mahathir Mohamad to the Bersih Gathering must be viewed in the above context. It reflects the strategic re-alignment as to what is needed to ensure the political health of the country, the indispensable Human Right of a nation state.
New paradigms must be examined to meet the changed and changing circumstances.
The diseases and illness associated with the aging process (dying cells, failure to rejuvenate new cells, loss of vitality, weakening of the immune system etc.) are inevitable only if we accept without more that healthy cells cannot rejuvenate.
The current illnesses and diseases afflicting UMNO are sickness and diseases associated with aging. UMNO is old and aging in the physical sense. The Najib Regime Tumour has ravaged the body UMNO.
If one needs to show a contrast, we need not look further than the vitality of Tun Mahathir Mohamad. He is 90 years young and his vitality puts to shame men and women in the twenties and thirties.
His life at every decade is an example of the replication of healthy cells providing new vigour to mind and body. While men and women of younger age have stumbled and fell, he continues living at the same hectic pace, defying logic and convention.
This is what is needed for Malaysia. Rejuvenation!
In writing this article, I am not promoting a personality cult, the cult of Mahathir Mohamad as a solution, the cure for the political cancer.
I am putting forward a choice before the country. To choose a leader who can make changes, to effect change for the better, to replicate new healthy cells every decade, to rejuvenate the body politic, to adopt new technologies to meet new challenges and ensure that all of us can enjoy the basic Human Right of Political Health and to live in peace and harmony.
No one is perfect and all good. This applies to all Opposition leaders. But, let’s look at the good qualities of each man and woman.
Now, decide in the context of the present political realities.
Who and what do you want?
The good qualities of Tun Mahathir Mohamad when he was the Prime Minister as compared to the current crop of Pretenders:
Do you really WANT Zahid Hamidi?
Do you really WANT Ismail Sabri Yaakob?
Do you really WANT Azalina Othman Said?
Do you really WANT Ahmad Rahman Dahlan? Do you really WANT Shahrir Abdul Samad?
Do you really WANT Ahmad Maslan?
Do you really WANT Hishammuddin Hussein?
Do you really WANT any of the lesser UMNO Warlords?
Do you really WANT any of the above combinations?
Do you really WANT the above pretenders to take over from Najib and Rosmah?
If your answer is an emphatic NO, NO, NO, then the only option for the country as a matter of practical politics is for the AGING UMNO to die a natural death and be replaced with a rejuvenated UMNO with an entirely new POLITICAL COALITION across the board.
Before you dismiss this solution, you should first test your ideas and solutions and discover for yourself whether your solutions can gain any traction.
I state here without fear or favour. There is but one solution for Malaysia!

A COALITION IS NEVER STATIC AND RIGID.
THEREFORE, THE ENTIRE BODY POLITIC MUST NOW EXAMINE AS TO HOW A NEW COALITION, A NEW BODY POLITIC CAN BE FORGED SO THAT ALL MALAYSIANS CAN PROCLAIM IN ONE VOICE:
MALAYSIA HAS POLITICAL INTEGRITY, THE FUNDAMENTAL POLITICAL HUMAN RIGHT.
MALAYSIA IS A HEALTHY NATION AND NOT A FAILED STATE!
