But what they ended up seeing was a trade that few, if anyone at all, saw coming. The Chicago Bulls traded away their forwards and Doug McDermott, along with their 2018 second round draft pick. In exchange, they received the ’s HEADLINES guards, and , and . Clearly, the Thunder were the winners of this trade as their new pieces will work to help the team progress. It’s been no surprise this season that the Bulls struggle heavily with scoring, with Jimmy Butler being their Houston Texans: 3-round mock draft main source of points. But even with Jimmy being the big scoring contributor, the team has players who provide a little something extra. One of the more reliable players in that aspect was Taj Gibson who averaged the third most points, the most rebounds, and the most blocks on the team. Night in and not out, the Bulls knew that they could expect a solid contribution from Gibson, along with tremendous energy on New York Knicks Game Preview Vs. Toronto both sides of the court. And that’s been Taj’s mantra since the organization drafted him 26th overall in 2009. Raptors Now with his absence, the bulls lose that energy player who had an impact on and off the court.

Michigan vs. Texas Tech: Preview and The next player is the sharp shooter who was drafted 11th overall out of Creighton in 2014: Doug Prediction McDermott. On a team with a multitude of horrendous shooters, Doug was a bright spot. He averaged the fourth best points per game on the team and the best three-point shooting percentage on the team. Since 2019 NL East Predictions he was drafted, it was clear that Doug would be the team’s go-to shooter and he’s been exceptional at that from the jump. But now that Doug is gone the Bulls’ three-point game will be almost non-existent. Which isn’t saying much because it’s pretty much non-existent already. The Bulls are 30th in the league in both 2019 AL West Predictions three-pointers made and three-pointers attempted and they’re 29th in three-point percentage. With these numbers, it’s hard to see them getting much worse but never underestimate just how bad the Bulls’ shooting can get, especially without McDermott. 2018 DRAFT PICK

Sponsored Content The rst thought that comes to mind with this trade is that the Bulls are planning to go into a rebuilding mode and are going to look to pick up some players in the draft. But if that’s the case, why give up a draft pick and not get another one in return? Some may think that it’s a second round pick so it doesn’t matter, but some pretty good players can be found after the rst round. For example, Draymond Green, Paul Millsap, Gilbert Arenas, Manu Ginobili, and Isaiah Thomas were all taken in the second round. All of those players also went on to be All-stars. And that’s just a small sample size of outstanding players who were found in the second round. If rebuilding, it’s important to take advantage of whatever picks you have your hand on. Hopefully, the front oce knows what they’re doing with this one, but it’s not looking too good as of right now. Morrow is averaging 38% shooting from the eld and Recommended by 29% shooting from behind the arc. Morrow will probably be another backup option, that won’t really bring much to the team. Expectations and what’s next for the Cleveland Browns after OBJ trade The last player the team picked up in the trade is Joffrey Lauvergne. He’s in his third season and is averaging ve points and three rebounds. Lauvergne is probably the least known player in the trade, and it will probably stay that way during his time in Chicago. He’ll likely see limited minutes, being stuck behind With Rob Gronkowski’s Retirement what’s next for the New England Patriots Robin Lopez and Cristiano Felicio. Maybe over time he’ll increase his productivity and be a decent bench contributor, but as of now it doesn’t seem like he’ll be a major factor for the team.
