Lunch, cake auction to benefit Dale Smyrnios The Steinhatchee Fish Company will host a benefit lunch and cake auction on Saturday, July 31, for a local fisherman while he recovers from an illness. The benefit lunch and cake auction will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1503 Rives Avenue in Steinhatchee. It will benefit Dale Smyrnios, a commercial fisherman who works for the company, while he recovers from an illness. The benefit lunch will consist of a mullet dinner plate with mullet, swamp cabbage or coleslaw, cheese grits, hush puppies and a drink. The dinner plates will be $10 per plate. Cakes will also be available for purchase via an auction, which will take place during the event. The Steinhatchee Fish Company invites all community members to participate in the benefit lunch and cake auction on Saturday, July 31.
