5. Report IEOA SG Peter Bollen will replace IEOA SG Jan Willem Körner today. From the IEOA there was no representative at the FEI GA in Rio November 2011, this is not a good situation. Since September 2010 the IEOA Board met tow times. There were good and positive contacts as usual with the FEI. The Secretary General attended the FEI General Assembly in Tapei November 2010. The IEOA was not represented at the FEI General Assembly in Rio de Janeiro November 2011. The IEOA, AJO and AIDEO are associate members of the FEI. AJO and AIDEO have official representatives on the FEI Technical Committees. The IEOA SG also attended several meetings of the new European Equestrian Federation, of which the IEOA became an associate member on behalf of the organizers. Our members AJO and AIDEO are very active. Unfortunately it appeared to be impossible to crate formal association of the eventing and Driving organizers.

8. Report of Dressage organizers - Thomas Bauer (SG AIDEO) Secretary General Thomas Bauer is an active member of the FEI Dressage Committee, of which Frank Kemperman was elected Chairman in the 2010 FEI GA. Many changes in the judging of the dressage competitions. Especially for Championships. The AIDEO increased his members with 20% the last years to 36 members in 2011. FEI Tribunal – Ingmar De Vos with IDRC (International Dressage Riders Club) IDRC has temporary no riders representative in Dressage Committee. IDRC had 3 candidates for replacement of Margit Otto-Crepin, but did withdraw 2 members of the nominative list, which is not a democratic decision. The IDRC changed the statutes to do this. FEI will come with a new proposal for the riders DC membership from IDRC. Eleonora president of the IJRC informed the meeting that the IJRC don’t want and can’t support this way of action from the IDRC and support the FEI. Thomas marked the discussion during the AIDEO GA this morning with the officials diem, and will discuss this with the AJO members to combine the officials diem. During the next IEOA board meeting this will be put on the agenda and will come with a proposal.

9. Report of AOCAI The AOCAI was re-founded at CHIO Aachen 2010. Isabelle Cazaux (Bordeaux) and Birgit Albersmeier (Aachen) act as its coordinators. The Driving Organizers are not interested in an own association either, although the IEOA board has tried several times to get them together. There is no much interest from the driving organizers; there is too much difference between the indoor and outdoor organizers. The indoor organizers are more interested than the outdoor. Since there is no interest the AOCAI has no role in the IEOA at this moment.

10. Report of AOCCI The AOCCI had several informal meetings with its members, mainly during CCIs. Its aim is to become an official association, which can be recognized as such by the FEI and can a representative on the FEI Eventing Committee. The AOCCI is working close with the IEOC (Eventing Officials Club) The Eventing organizers are not interested, IEOA is looking for another solution to make all eventing organizations automatically member of the AOCCI.

- IEOA & AJO General Assembly Geneva (SUI) December 10th 2011 - page 5 of 7

The AOCCI decided to act together with the eventing officials club. The IEOA doesn’t support this decision.

It has approx. 40 members and IEOA has been accepted as associate member, also on behalf of its sub-groups. We have organizer’s representatives in various EEF Working Groups. Thomas Bauer and Jan Willem Körner attended the EEF GA in September 2011 in London.

13. Miscellaneous CSIO Rotterdam Fred Rozendaal asks the IEOA and AJO board if the organizers are pro-active to FEI on Long term. Ian Allison answered that with the new FEI member Ingmar De Vos and AJO Jumping Committee member John Madden our sport succeed the membership of assisting. The Jumping Committee is an advisory committee. FEI has a long term policy, in April there will be a sport meeting for jumping and dressage. The AJO can’t make any guarantees but do think that they are on a good way. John Madden informed the meeting that every point jumping director John Roche will make will first come to discuss with the JC. Organizers can give suggestions to JC by mail or letters to the SG, it is this groups initiative to act as this. The last 5 years the AJO has a lot involvement in the FEI to change things to have a better product. No focus on the daily problems, but on the long term. FEI Ingmar De Vos: The FEI will involve all stakeholders in this process, and have to look from a new ankle. FEI has to come with some visionary points. The Sport Forum won’t be a discussion program but will be held in a structural way. FEI is giving the tool to give your vision to improve the sport. A timeline established Sport forum in Lausanne from 30 April till 2nd May 2012 When organizers have points for the agenda, they can inform the AJO or AIDEO, or by their national federations, it will be a discussion with all groups, all relevant information has to be sent on forehand to read before the meeting.
