But that’s not all. Stockholm is a city with substance and punch. A city packed with history, culture and nautical landscapes. Stockholm is also a modern hub for talent and creative industries. But most of all- a city open to everyone. The first words to come out of most first-time Stockholm visitors are “this place is so beautiful.” Wandering across the 14 islands that form the city, there are countless breathtaking nooks, crannies, and sights to explore. Stockholm is known for its beauty, its buildings and architecture, its abundant clean and open water, and its many parks. The Archipelago The world famous Stockholm Archipelago is made up of over 30 ’000 islands, from small to large, some buzzing with activity, others barely large enough to peak out from the crystal clear waters of the Baltic Sea. The Archipelago can be easily reached by boat from Stockholm city and day trips run regularly all year round. stockholmarchipelago.se The Climate End of March in Stockholm is considered early springtime and the temperature is between +1°C average low and +6°C average high. Time Zone Central European Time (CET) is 1 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Daylight Saving Time is practiced and the switch to summer time is done on the night to the last Sunday in March. 4 Stockholm Arlanda NORRA DJURGÅRDEN Airport 40 km HJORTHAGEN na vägen Tallink Silja Line terminal Birger Jarlsgatan Sveavägen inska tssjukhuset na Stockholm Ö Gärdet Tekniska Tekniska högskolan högskolan VASASTAN Gärdet Tallink Silja Line Odengatan Karlavägen terminal Sankt Eriksgatan Odenplan Rådmansgatan Stadion Odenplan Odenplan Valhallavägen Sankt Birger Jarlsgatan Eriksplan Frihamnen Karlbergs Rådmansgatan station Odengatan Karlaplan KUNGLIGA Stadion VASAPARKEN Sveavägen HUMLE- Valhallavägen Sankt GÅRDEN Karlavägen Eriksplan Drottninggatan Karlaplan EN Öster- malmstorg ÖSTERMALM Karlavägen NORRMALM Hötorget Öster- Narvavägen LADUGÅRDSGÄRDET Kungsgatan malmstorg Fridhemsplan CITY Fridhemsplan Sankt Eriksgatan Kungsgatan Fleminggatan Fridhemsplan City- SERGELS Dag Hammarskjölds Väg terminalen T-centralen TORG Hamngatan NYBRO- BERZELII Arlanda PLAN KUNGSHOLMEN Express/Train PARK Strandvägen Rådhuset Airport Bus Rådhuset Kungs- Scheelegatan trädgården Klarabergsgatan Stockholm Bromma Stockholm Airport 10 km Rådhuset Central Station BSHOVS- KEN Norr Mälarstrand 5 DJURGÅRDEN Västerbron SKEPPSHOLMEN Boat to Drottningholm RIDDAR- Swedish Music GAMLA STAN Hall of Fame HOLMEN ABBA the MuseumDjurgårdsslätten Gamla stan KASTELL- HOLMEN NGHOLMEN Söder Mälarstrand BECKHOLMEN Fotografiska Katarinavägen ME Hornsgatan ZinkensZinkens-- MariatorgeMariatorget Stadsgårdleden ddammamm Mariatorget HHornstullornstull ga 1 HornsgatanHornsgata Viking Line Terminal HornstullHornstull Ericsson Globe, 0 km Folkkungagatan Medborgar- Renstiernas Gata 2 Quality Hotel Globe, 0 km StockholmStockhc ol S platsen LMENEN Henriksdals station RingvägenRinRingRi SÖDERMALM SoFo 3 Clarion Hotel Stockholm, 2 ngkmgvägen TANTOLUNDENANTOLUND ägen VITABERGS- ge ä PARKEN evägen BRYGGAR- ljevj 4 ä )PUFM1BSL*OO LN Skanstull TÄPPAN dertäljevägen Sö Ringvägen Värmdöleden 5 $JUZ)BMM LN4UPDLIPMN Skanstull Sickla station Visitor Center, 5 kmRailway 3 Årstadaltadal Sickla udde Johanneshovsbron Luma Station SÖDRA HAMMARBYHAMNEN 4 Sickla kaj Underground Station Mårtensdal ÅrstabergÅrstaberg Commuter train Station ÅrstabergÅrstaberg Airport (12 km, 47 km,ÅRSTÅRSÅRÅ 100STAA km) Gullmarsplan ÅrstafältetÅrstafältet HAMMARBYHÖJDEN Nynäsvägen Ferries to Finland, Skärmarbrink Russia and Estonia VVallaalla torgtorg Globen Hammarby- Linde JOHANNESHOV höjden 1 2 BJÖRKHA Stockholm Skavsta Airport 100 km KÄRRTORP Huddingevägen Enskedevägen Map of Stockholm 5 THE VENUE Each year Stockholm Globe Arenas provide 2 million visitors with more than 300 world class events in sport, music and entertainment. It is necessary to protect the current and future health conditions of young gymnasts, especially in the growth process. There is a lack of knowledge about training education on rhythmic gymnastics. To suggest innovative changes, the current study aimed to analyze the scores (D, E, and total scores) of the first 24 gymnasts competing in 34th and 36th Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships (ECh). Research data were collected from 24 rhythmic gymnasts’ scores, from the 34th ECh and 36th ECh. Difficulty (D), Execution (E), and total scores for hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon were analyzed. Conformity of data to normal distribution was assessed with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Variables with normal distribution were compared by one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)/independent samples t-test and for variables not fitting normal distribution, Mann Whitney U/Kruskal Wallis H test was used.

  • Sweden 2020 International Religious Freedom Report
SWEDEN 2020 INTERNATIONAL RELIGIOUS FREEDOM REPORT Executive Summary The constitution protects “the freedom to practice one’s religion alone or in the company of others” and prohibits discrimination based on religion. In March, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) declined to hear the case of two midwives who said the regional hospitals, and by extension the state, had infringed on their religious beliefs and freedom of choice by denying them employment due to their opposition to abortion, which is legal in the country. In September, the Malmo Administrative Court overturned the Bromolla Municipality’s ban on prayer during working hours. In November, the Malmo Administrative Court overturned the ban on hijabs, burqas, niqabs, and other face- and hair-covering garments for students and employees in preschools and elementary schools introduced by Skurup and Staffanstorp Municipalities. In January, a government inquiry proposed a ban on the establishment of new independent religious schools, beginning in 2023, and increased oversight on existing schools having a religious orientation. The Migration Agency’s annual report, released in February, reported large regional variations in the assessment of asylum cases of Christian converts from the Middle East and elsewhere. Some politicians from the Sweden Democrats, the country’s third largest political party, made denigrating comments about Jews and Muslims. Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and other politicians condemned anti-Semitism and religious intolerance. The Prime Minister announced his country’s endorsement of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism, including its list of examples of anti- Semitism. The government continued funding programs aimed at combating racism and anti-Semitism and reducing hate crimes, including those motivated by religion.
