From October 16th to November 15th, 2020, the Duna Arena in Budapest will be the single location for the first 10 matches of this year’s only major competition to feature the world’s best swimmers. The match series represents the qualifiers for the semi-finals set to happen in Budapest from November 19th, 2020. Seto, che ai recenti Campionati del Mondo di luglio a Gwangju ha vinto i 200 e 400 misti, risulta il primo nuotatore giapponese ad aderire all’ISL e anche il primo asiatico. Saranno in gara nell’intero circuito ISL oltre 100 atleti che hanno preso parte ai Giochi Olimpici, tra cui 41 medaglie d’oro Di Rio 2016. In Italia il circuito sarà trasmesso in diretta streaming da Eurosport. Seto è il primo nuotatore giapponese a aderire all’ISL e anche il primo atleta dall’Asia. Seto, 25 anni, è reduce da una prestazione straordinaria ai Campionati del Mondo di luglio a Gwangju, in Corea del Sud, dove ha vinto nei 200 e nei 400 misti maschili. Per il medagliato olimpico con un bronzo nel 2016, quella nei 400 misti è stato il suo terzo podio più importante. Ha dichiarato: “Sono molto contento di giocare un ruolo in questa rivoluzionaria dimensione nel mondo del nuoto, e non vedo l’ora di competere con il mio team Energy Standard.     ISL annuncia la lista degli atleti “protetti”: Energy Standard sceglie Benedetta Pilato written by Redazione | 7 Giugno 2021 La International Swimming League (ISL) ha pubblicato la lista degli atleti “protetti” in vista dell’inizio del Draft fissato per il prossimo 29 giugno. Da oggi, per ogni giorno della settimana, due dei club partecipanti alla Lega annunceranno i nomi dei propri atleti protetti, cioè quelli che hanno confermato l’impegno a rimanere nella stessa squadra del 2020 se saranno convocati dal General manager o votati dai fan durante il Draft. Ogni club potrà indicare 15 nominativi più uno scelto online dai fan. I primi club a diramare la lista degli atleti protetti sono i Cali Condors e Energy Standard. Seguiranno domani London Roar e LA Current, mercoledì sarà il turno di Team Iron e Tokyo Frog, giovedì di Toronto Titans e NY Breakers, chiuderanno venerdì DC Trident e Aqua Centurions. Gli atleti che non avranno confermato il proprio impegno con la propria squadra entreranno nel draft come Rookie, mentre quelli che lo avranno confermato ma non saranno stati scelti avranno lo status di Veteran. Durante il draft ogni clun potrà selezionare fino a 11 nuotatori, raggiungendo quindi 27 componenti per ciascun team, ai quali ciascun General manager potrà aggiungere ulteriori elementi fino a un massimo di 36.     Editorial A pesar de la cercanía y velocidad de información que aportan las redes sociales, de que llevamos desde el pasado mes de diciembre escuchando hablar del “coronavirus”, del impacto que estaba teniendo en China y luego en Italia, nos parecía ciencia ficción la situación que estamos viviendo actualmente en nuestro país. ¿Quién iba a pensar que nos cerrarían instalaciones deportivas o que nos confinarían en Volumen XLIII nuestras casas en mitad de la temporada y en pleno proceso de clasificación para los Juegos Número 1 - Enero - Marzo 2020 Olímpicos y Paralímpicos? ¿Es posible que se hayan cancelado todas las competiciones en menos EDITA de una semana? Esto es una locura. Seamos todos y todas coherentes y asumamos la situación por la que PRESIDENTA estamos pasando en TODO EL MUNDO. Siendo personas que viven en el Mª CONCEPCIÓN APONTE GARCÍA mundo del deporte, estamos acostumbrados a los obstáculos o rivales que debemos vencer o superar, empezando por nosotros mismos, por el crono, por las dobles sesiones, las agujetas, el DIRECTOR XAVIER CENZANO JUANEDA cansancio físico y mental que acompaña a nuestro día a día.
