Terms and Eligibility

Awarded annually on the recommendation of the Geoffrey Pearson Bursary Committee to deserving students. The purpose of this bursary is to assist with the costs of student travel for research about or other activities related to the United Nations its member organizations and/or agencies. Recipients must be Canadian Citizens or permanent residents of (landed immigrant or a protected person,) meet OSAP’s residency requirements, and demonstrate financial need. If the recipient is a graduate student, the bursary will be awarded by the Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs Endowed in 2011 by , O.C., in memory of Geoffrey A.H. Pearson, O.C. Revised 2013

For the 2020 academic year, the maximum funds available will be $ 2,500

Application Deadline: February 28, 2020 Successful candidate will be notified in writing by March 16, 2020
