SERIES MARK ON THE LINE--A win today would give Kansas City a split of this 4-game series and be the sixth non-losing series out of the seven...KC enters this finale with the O’s going 4-1 with a split in the last six, a stretch that began with a 2-1 stop in Baltimore, followed by a 2-1 mark here vs. the Jays...the Detroit Tigers came to “The K” and delivered the lone series loss in this streak by taking all three games, but the Royals rebounded to go 2-1 in San Diego, gain a 2-2 split in Seattle and then sweep Colorado to open this homestand...overall, KC is 8-4-1 in 13 sets played.
