PUBLIC b) If property purchased is equipment to be handled or driven and could possibly cause injury, no matter how remote, you are urged to have the equipment inspected by a qualified individual prior to AUCTION driving or using the equipment. c) The purchaser assumes the obligation to save the owner harmless and to indemnify the owner from every expense liability or payment arising out of the purchase of the equipment. 2. All prospective bidders must have acceptable photo identification to register and obtain a bidders card. 3. Payment Terms and Conditions 1. All property must be paid in full by 4:00 p.m., the Tuesday following the sale. Payments will be accepted on Saturday of the auction or the Monday or Tuesday following the sale between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at 1537 West Jackson Street, Phoenix, Arizona. The Surplus Property Management Office reserves the right to require full payment of successful bids at any given time. 2. Forms of payment accepted: cash, cashiers check, certified check, Master Card and Visa credit and debit cards, money orders or traveler’s checks only. 3. TAX IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE BID PRICE. A transaction privilege tax of 6.3% will be applicable to all sales. The 6.3% will be added to the bid price. 4. Property not paid for by 4:00 p.m. by the Tuesday after the sale will be made available to other interested buyers on Wednesday, at 8:00 a.m. at the bid price only. NO OTHER OFFERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Pickup Terms and Conditions 1. Property must be paid prior to its removal and must be removed no later than 4:00 p.m. the Friday after the sale. Pickup hours are from State of Arizona Surplus Property Management Office 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m Monday through Tuesday after the sale. A valid Public Auction receipt given at time of payment is mandatory for pickup. 2. Property paid for but not picked up by 4:00 p.m. Friday after the sale will be considered abandoned and disposed of at the Surplus Property Management Office’s discretion.
