The Carolina Cobras are excited to re-sign wide receiver Fabian Guerra for the 2019 season.

In his first season with the Cobras, Fabian Guerra recorded 70 receptions for 818 yards and 16 touchdowns as the team won the National Arena League Championship.

Guerra returned to the Cobras on April 9, just in time for the 2019 season. His presence immediately adds an additional layer of talent to the current receiver core.

Guerra gained additional professional experience in the as a member of the Columbus Destroyers.

Fabian Guerra announced that he would be joining the of the Alliance of on December 12. Upon joining the team, he became one of two Division II players on the final roster. Guerra recorded his first catch for the Express in his first game against the .

Guerra played Division II for the Fairmont State University Fighting Falcons where he started seven games during his freshman year in 2013. He recorded the fourth-most receptions in school history during his sophomore season as he hauled in 63 catches for 822 yards and five touchdowns. He also earned All-Mec first team honors and appeared on SportsCenter Top 10. The catch that earned him national media coverage was later named the 2014 NCAA Catch of the Year. Guerra recorded four games with a minimum of 100 receiving yards in 2015, along with 62 catches, 819 yards, and six touchdowns throughout ten games. He earned second-team All-MEC honors during his junior season. In his final season, he helped lead the team to a 7-0 start, which was their best start in over 50 years. By the end of the season, he set Fairmont State University’s all-time receptions record. Guerra also ranks in the top three in school history for both yards and touchdowns.

Fabian Guerra is a , native and graduate of Christopher Columbus High School, which is also the alma mater of Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Mike Shula.
