A Message to the NJSIAA 2020 Regional Championship Participants

Greetings Field Hockey Players, Parents and Fans!

On behalf of Investors Bank and our employees, I welcome all of you to the NJSIAA 2020 Field Hockey Regional Championships. The 2020 season was unlike any other. COVID-19 has changed much in our lives – from school to extracurricular activities and sports.

To the players, throughout this season you have represented your schools and the sport of field hockey with amazing grace, respect and pride. Your dedication during this challenging time will be an inspiration to the many young athletes who follow in your footsteps.

Field Hockey is a tough sport requiring determination, skills and teamwork to bring home a winning season. Yet, success in athletics is measured in many ways. The easiest to see are the championships and trophies on display. But there is another more important measure of success that is harder to quantify. It appears on your personal score sheets as scholar-athletes. Your training, teammates, coaches, teachers and parents have helped mold you into women of character who stand ready to make a difference in the world. You are their greatest success!

To the parents and fans, as the players battle for control on the field and drive for goals, know you have the privilege of watching our next generation of leaders. Please cherish these games as time goes by so quickly, and these young athletes will soon move on to greater challenges and opportunities.

Investors Bank is proud to support the 2020 NJSIAA Field Hockey participants and everyone else who make high school field hockey happen in New Jersey – even during these most challenging times.

Play hard, compete well, and have fun! Best,

Kevin Cummings Chairman and CEO
