After Mamsen passed away, the family found her old dishware, stamped with the “Tor Viking” logo. The producer of the dishware was able to replicate the pattern for our guests to enjoy.

After a lifetime spent living in hotels, our Chairman wanted to ensure every detail of our ships was elegantly functional. Therefore, he ensured we designed easy-to-read and -open premium bath products; intuitive remote controls (no teenager needed to demonstrate); large showers (not impossible-to-access bathtubs) with strong water pressure and clear controls; anti-fog mirrors and heated floors. Our Chairman also wanted meaningful art — and commissioned the children of Viking-sponsored Chinese schools to interpret photographs of Viking destinations. This attention to detail results in the ultimate comfort: a simply elegant stateroom.
